We had a wonderful stay at the Aston cannot fault the staff or the hotel very friendly the pool was awesome our room was the best having read lots of comments before we left those people that complained about silly things would never be happy anywhere.

A lovely hotel in the modern Balinese...
A lovely hotel in the modern Balinese style. Excellent value for money, especially for families. It looks 12 years old (which it is), but is generally well maintained and has very pleasant gardens. It does not offer airport transfers (contrary to the Asia Rooms info pages) but does offer a free shuttle service into Kuta, if you book early enough to fit on the minibus. The beach is swimmable at high tide, though hardly spectacular; on the other hand, the pool is terrific. Rooms, food and staff service are all highly commendable. Tanjung Benoa is a nice compromise between Kuta and Nusa Dua.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Pool was great. Quite a windy part of Bali which was actually nice as it was never too hot and humid, but too cool to swim in the late afternoon. Heaps of restaurants right at your doorstep.

Asia Rooms rate this hotel as a 5 star, it is not even close to a 5 star, it is clearly a 3 star hotel, with the atmospher, service and facillties of a 3 star, it is still good value for the money as a three star. The breakfast that was included was very good.

Had a great stay. On arrival we were upgraded to an ocean view royal suite which was a bit of a bonus. The hotel is starting to look a little tired but still worthy of its four stars. The quality and variety for breakfast is worth noting. I must comment on the friendly and very helpful staff. They were amazing and couldn't do enough for you.

The hotel was pleasant. The room is spacious with a huge comfortable bed and flat screen tv. The toilet comes with a shower and a bath tub which is quite spacious but the taps need to be improve..its a bit rusty. The pool is nice, big and clean. The food selection of the restaurants need to be improve. The people there are friendly and helpful. If you are looking for nice beach then dont get your hopes too high as the beach there is quite dirty. Overall if you need a quiet place to relax without needing to go anywhere, this is the hotel you can opt for.

Lovely hotel... Unfortunately we did not...
Lovely hotel... Unfortunately we did not get to enjoy all the facilities due to our short stay, as we spent most of our time out of the hotel. Would like to return and just spend time taking in the sea and beach....!

overall the hotel was good value however...
overall the hotel was good value however the pool certainly requires a good clean,(slime and algae growing on the rock and under the steps.) the breakfast was a bit ordinary as a selection. in a place like bali why do we get tinned pineapple served up for breakfast?? the drinks served at the pool area need to have some decent refrigeration as they are never cold enough Ii had to ask for a bucket of ice to put the beers in for a couple of minutes before drinking them. the room itself (an ocean view suite) was very nice and suited the family very well. this was very clean and well serviced.

Perfect getaway! We had fun playing pool...
Perfect getaway! We had fun playing pool and table tennis. The swimming pool and the entire place is beautiful. Highly recommended for couples. Having the spa in the resort was a plus especially if you booked an appointment within 9-11am - 2 for the price of 1. =) Taxi from the airport is about 100,000, don't pay more than that. Also, it is cheaper to hire a driver for sightseeing, we paid 200,000 for 4hrs. We enjoyed watching the fire dance in Uluwatu and had a nice dinner near the beach after in Jimbaran where we were serenaded. Make sure you don't wear any earrings when you watch the fire dance as the monkeys are really fond with them. Tried to grab my ear thrice but it was fun! =) Will surely stay in Aston Nusa Dua again when we come back.
