Went for family holiday
The food and drinks require a lot of work. Preparation was not at all 5 star level.
A very nice place for family holiday
The room was great, so did the pool and the room service. I like the food eventhough its better if there's more variety for breakfast buffet. The staff also very helpfull & friendly, and my 3 yo son really enjoy the private beach. We definitely going back to this hotel, very recommended!

We stayed here recently - Aussie family...
We stayed here recently - Aussie family of 2 adults and a 2 year old. For this trip we chose Nusa as we wanted pure R and R and wanted to avoid the hustle bustle of Kuta etc. Great resort, rooms fine even for a 2 year old but no kitchen facilities (apart from kettle area) so prob would go a villa elsewhere purely for child catering purposes. We were charged an extra $20 US ++ per night (originally $40 USD++ for an extra bed but I refused on grounds i shouldnt have to pay at all) for a 2 year old which left us a little bitter - many other resorts cater and even feed the kids for free!
Couldn't fault the pool area, toddler pool was great. Breakfast was great and varied - def a large array on offer. It def was expensive to drink / dine etc around the pool compared to cheaper areas of Bali - e.g. $4 - $5 AUD for a can of Coke was quite excessive. Found a large mix of people from all over the world staying at resort - most kept to themselves so was lacking in the "holiday banter you get in meeting new people" that we kind of like. Dont think would stay again - nothing personal and def impressive but there are just too many hotels in Bali to choose from. I would probably go Seminyak area next - Nusa was a little dated for us.

Friendly staff and beautiful environment.
Beach area was great and the restaurants near the hotels were fantastic and so cheap.
Would recommend to people who don't want hectic areas like Kuta. After staying here, I really wonder why people even go to Kuta.

The Ayodya resort was fabulous. the staff...
The Ayodya resort was fabulous. the staff was without exception very courteous, friendly & responsive. i was touched one day at breakfast when i enquired about papaya, they got it from the kitchen eventhough not on the menu.
we enjoyed cocktails and dancing in Rama Lounge; the ensemble were wonderful, playing Japanese, Russian and Hindi songs in addition to English/American numbers.
however, i had forgotten to pack my toothbrush and paste. would have been happy if these were provide as also an iron for a quick removal of travel-creases. a bidet too would have been welcome.
the location, pool, beach and restaurants were just great. certainly would love to come again.

This Resort was amazing... I am a flight attendant so I stay in a lot of hotels all over the world, and therefore know whats good and whats not... This one is up there with some of the nicest places I've ever stayed...
Rooms were cleaned immacuately every day, breakkie buffet had lots of variety, pool is huge with lots of sun chairs, the resort have their own section of the beach with heaps of sunchairs which only resort guests can use, staff were all reall friendly, theres about 7 restaurants to choose from in the hotel.
The only thing with staying in 5 star resorts is of course the pricey menus. But right out the front of the resort in walking distance is Nusa Dua village where there are alot of nice restaurants to eat out at and they are all priced quite cheaply and the food is amazing.
Definitely reccomend this resort to anybody.
