The food costs were outrageous. They were priced at the same costs as major US locations. The lowest luncheon entree was 75000 rupiah plus 10% plus 10%. There was no coffee shop available for light meals let alone a cup of coffee or tea
Extremely well thought out and managed hotel....
Extremely well thought out and managed hotel. Does not really feel like a hotel. The food is excellent and varied. Fantastic for young kids (2 and 20 months)

The Grand Hyatt Bali is truly a world-class 5 star hotel We enjoyed the excellent beach and 6 swimming pools everyday. The Regency Club staff were quite helpful and friendly, although I did feel somewhat uncomfortable when they questioned me about my room number whenever I was in the Club lounge. I didn't see them questioning other guests in the lounge, and this made me wonder whether they discriminating against my wife and I. This could possibly be attributed to my age (27), since most of the other guests were older and "looked" like they belonged in the lounge. I didn't check out all the various restaurants in the resort, but we did have a dinner buffet at the "Pasar Sengol." Very good selection of food (Asian and Western and the Balinese dance show was very entertaining. Overall, we had an excellent time and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

This huge resort is justified when it uses the term ?village? to describe itself. Gigantically sprawled with campus dimensions, it would require a lengthy tour to see the entire premises, and distances between rooms and facilities can become inconvenient. The resort is quite tall and at times feels like a cross between a theme park and an estate. It borders a very good beach that a few rooms can see, and sports a wealth of facilities including great lagoon and river pools. There?s plenty of choice for dining, leisure and kids will never be bored. The Grand Hyatt may require a compass to navigate but has tasteful, spotless rooms and is ideal for those looking for the broadest choice of facilities all in one place.
Stayed in the hotel for 16 days...
Stayed in the hotel for 16 days in August room 2238 Regency Club. The service was second to none,the staff were all so helpful and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. the hotel itself is one of the best i have stayed in and the gardens were magnificent.I would like to thank every body at the hotel for making my holiday there the best i have ever had. I will return in two years to stay with you again. once again thank you all
