Stayed @ Grand Mirage for 16 nights...
Stayed @ Grand Mirage for 16 nights from 2nd March 2007 as a 40th wedding anniversary celebration with my 4 children & 2 grandchildren who were both under 6 months old. Absolutly first class from start to finish & would recommend hotel for families/romantics/seniors. Being out of Kuta area it does not suit budget travellers or those seeking nightclubs/etc. One minor point - there always has to be one - fans need to be installed in the Panorama Bar as most nights the atmosphere/heat was quite overbearing. Look forward to seeing them in place when I return next year.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel....
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The lobby area is very spacious and the adjacent "natural" waterfall is spectacular. The pool area is very nice and the cafe has good food and very good service. We booked ocean view rooms and these were nice. The airconditioning in one room was not quite as efficient as it was in our other room but this was not a sufficient problem to request a room change. Overall we were quite impressed with this hotel and it is excellent value for money.

Clean room with lots of space. The TV has so many channels that will definitely cater to everyone. Love the fact that one could sit in the bathtub and watch TV at the same time. Pool is nice but the spa is expensive. Across the hotel are rows of shops, including many restaurants and a 24hrs convenience store. Only gripe is that if you require a taxi, the hotel only provide hotel taxi limo service which is more expensive than the metered rate. Suggest to get the contact number of the taxi drivers (esp bluebirdgroup) and call them to pick you up at the lobby. No booking fees and they charge by meter which is way cheaper.

The first room (Deluxe Seaview) they gave us had this horrible stench. We requested for a room change but the reception wasn't too helpful. Upon insistence, they moved us to another room...which hasn't been cleaned yet. Overall I think the room is a bit run down, not worth the price they are charging. The bathroom has a glass shower door and I could see stains on it. The pool is not properly cooled also. Not much temperature difference btwn the open sea and the pool. The breakfast buffet is good though. And those restaurants opposite the hotel are reasonably priced.

The minute our cab arrived @ the lobby, we were "WOW" by its grand lobby entrance. The entire hotel was beyond our expectations. The Deluxe Seaview room that we had was amazing, with the breath-taking Nusa Dua beach within our walking distance, just right out of our balcony!!! The room was very very cosy, loved the bathroom (bath tub esp). Had many cable channels to watch when we were lazing in our room @ night. The pool was incredible as well. Very family oriented place!! There is even a free shuttle bus every other hour to cater us to the shopping spot in Nusa Dua (called Bali Collection). Many other eateries can be found just opposite of the rd out of the hotel. Breakfast had a reasonable variety, downside is having houseflies as company during breakfast! Overall, we missed the place oh-so-much and will definitely be back there when we r in Bali!

Very nice hotel, a little on the large size for our liking. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The food was very good but as the dining room has no windows, the flies became a terrible problem when dining, this could be prove a health hazard so the hotel need some form of pest control to be installed. Most of the visitors were Russian, the majority of whom were rudeness personified and unfortunately gave the staff a very hard time.

The Grand Mirage was very nice place...
The Grand Mirage was very nice place to stay with really beautiful beaches and a great pool. The people were very friendly but if you are looking for more things to do this is not the place to stay unless you don't mind spending some money each day to get a taxi to go somewhere. There was not much around the hotel other then a few restaurants and shops. But we stayed away from the shops b/c they were tourists traps. The market across the street the hotel entrance would raise the price on some goods for the tourist so I had a local get me a few needed things from them. That was not to cool. The staff and the service is very friendly the food at the hotel is $$$ for that place when you consider that the restaurants outside were cheaper and better. The morning buffet was great.

It was a trip I needed for...
It was a trip I needed for relaxing, and booking online for a place to stay was not so convinving to myself. Anyways my bf and I browed thru AsiaRooms, and we found your resort. The pics were very nice, the reviews were good and price - value for money. We chose Grand Mirage then. Upon reaching the resort, we were greeted by the staffs and they were very friendly. The deluxe room - they were prettier in the photos, but nevertheless the room was beautiful, only we wished we had the seaview. The garden view was ok, very pleasant and peaceful. My only wish was that the floors were carpeted - but no biggie as sandals were supplied and they're cool! The service as very good - staffs cleaned our rooms without fail each morning when we left the room, replaced new towels and amenities. The breakfast buffet was not bad, I love the croissants! I wish there were more variety tho - as food was the same daily when I stayed there for 4 days. This place is about 15-20 mins away from Kuta - far and secluded if you're looking for a hiphop place, but it is the perfect place for just relaxing... all away from the hustle n' bustle of traffic and city noises. I wish the hotel provides free transport to Kuta, but they dont so far... not even to/from the hotel. I love the pol and the beach - a stroll down the Nusa Dua beach brings u a very nice views of the resorts along the way. I would return here and I hope you guys at the resort continue your good services!

Nice Hotel with good sized rooms in a quite location. Staff very nice and always wanting to greet and talk with you. I would say we had no bad experiences staying there for our 5 nights in October. Plenty of local places to eat just walking distance from the hotel entrance. You have to get a taxi if you want to go shopping, but taxi not expensive. Some of the hotels food and drink is quite costly, but what you would expect to pay I guess. Beach a bit of a disappointment, certainly not a place for swimming in the sea, but hotel pool is great. What amazed us was that there was hundreds and hundreds of people having breakfast, yet during the day and evening, you saw so few people that you would swear the place were empty, where all the gests go I do not know?.
