We have just got back from staying...
We have just got back from staying at the Grand Mirage Hotel for 5 nights. The hotel was magnificent and would be one of the best I have stayed in the area.
We did ask for a oceanview room and were initially disappointed with are view. I spoke to the manager and were instantly given a room on the top floor which was fantastic.
The rooms were beautiful, my only complaint is that there was not a DVD player to watch all those DVD's we had purchased.
The facilities were fantastic and the pool was lovely. There was a huge selection of food for breakfast and so much that we rarely could eat lunch.
The hotel is a bit removed from the bustle of Kuta, but if you just want to relax it is perfect. Many nice restaruants just across the road but for a special evening try La Cassetta it is magnificent. (We got engaged there so I may be a bit biased!!)
