Had a great stay at the Sanur...
Had a great stay at the Sanur Beach Hotel, we had a beachveiw room which was nice & close to the pool, they set up a cot for our baby & there was still room to move. The only thing i could say is that towards the end of our 10 day stay there which was early september it got so busy that we could'nt get any chair around the pool or beach.

I recommend having dinner beside the beach at Basilico, its Italian restaurant, to the accompaniment of live music.

The overall experience was quite pleasant -...
The overall experience was quite pleasant - facilities for children, good pool size, fairly decent selection of breakfast choices, polite staff. One point to note however is that: I had indicated during my booking that I will be checking in late and was quite surprised that when I arrived at the hotel, the rooms was not ready (I had requested for an extra bed) and with two young children I explained that I will need a twin bed instead of two single beds but the hotel front desk was not quite accomodating.

Nice hotel to stay µ1 or 2...
Nice hotel to stay µ1 or 2 nights. Good facilities, a lot of restaurant, big swimming pool. Staff is very professional. However the overall atmosphere is impersonel and not very sweet.

Nice Hotel! Visited it August 2008! Directly on the beach, the bathroom only provid a spacious shower and no bath. Clean big room, nice balcony at the superior room. Good housekeeping, very clean resort. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Two swimming pools. Towelservice at the beach, only complaint on that is the claiming of the best chairs at the pool in the morning by lying down the towel and not using it only after hours, should recommend at regulation on that. You can directly outside the Hotel book independ travelarrangents for siteseeing the Island of Bali at cheaper prices then in The Hotel. Same for Taxi!

This hotel was good overall but it...
This hotel was good overall but it is definitely not a 5 star (compared to other 5 stars). The room was large with a nice balcony. The breakfast was pretty good and the pool was big and spacious. This place caters to families mostly, there were children everywhere. I would not suggest this place for couples trying to get away from it all! Sanur beach is a good location though. The hotel is a bit old overall and could do with a major make over. The staff were pleasant but not really knowledgeable about the local attractions. There is free wireless in the lobby only. For the money, this hotel was reasonable compared to others in the area. The bonus though is that this hotel is right on the beach and at the end of the main shopping and eating street! Cheers... The facilities are ok, but the service...
The facilities are ok, but the service is rather poor. Everything takes a long while or is not available. But recommended for Budget travelers. Definitely not for conventions or conferences.

Only one bad with hotel and Bali, non smoking rooms is hard to get. Pools are fantastic sevice as well and breakfast. Nice restaurants just outside. Will defenetly return
