We had a wonderful stay at this...
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. When we arrived we were greeted by the local 'POP GROUP' who played a Balinese serenade! Checkin was painless and baggage whisked away to our rooms promptly,w hich were extremely comfortable with Queen size beds, air con, modern tv and bar. The staff were always very polite and helpfull. Breakfasts were very varied and were of a buffet style where you could eat as much as you wanted. The hotel also had a sports gym, 2 pools, some evening entertainment and a health spa which my wife used twice and was very impressed at both the treatments provided and the low cost. The hotel is right on the beach and is at the quieter end of Sanur although in easy reach of a variety of shops and very reasonable restaurants should you not wish to eat in the hotel. All in all I would certainly return to this hotel and of course to Bali which is a beautiful place with very friendly people.

Actually, we enjoyed all, including SPA, but...
Actually, we enjoyed all, including SPA, but swimming pool. We couldn't have a early bird swimming and late evening one. We were supposed to swim around 7am before breakfast and 8pm after shopping, sightseeing etc. That was a little bit of ridiculous, we could hardly touch the water during our stay at hotel. We really wish the pool will be available all day long or longer for casual visitor. You know, we're always placed with a full schedule to drop by everywhere in Bali. It was really a pity not to dip into the pool when we needed a fresh and relax, wasn't it!! Anyway, we are satisfied !! Thank you very much!! Freda Chang

This hotel is a bit old and...
This hotel is a bit old and requires renovation. Room is a bit too small compare to other same grade hotel. The beach and the pools are the advantage. One elevator is out odf order during our stay which requires immediate attends. Food in the hotel are too expensive compsre to its quality and quantity. It is a quiet place to stay and acceptable for people wants to get out from the city to relax from the outside world.

Initially booked superior room. Upgraded to deluxe oceanview room on arrival for US$20 per night, as sizes, especially bathroom, were less than expected, and carpet in the corridor had heavy smell. Then everything was very good, including quality and cheap restaurants outside the hotel. Also close to Celuk (silver) and Ubud (art). Stayed previously in Nusa Dua, Tanah Lot, Tanjung-Benoa. Sanur area competes very well.

Far from Kuta area, most of the...
Far from Kuta area, most of the shopping is. I d'not like the system operated by the Tour Desk. being a 5star hotel the Tour desk operator practices BAGAINING in Tour Operations. A tourist like me Fear whether I got the Right Price. when I book outside the hotel I got better price. So this is unhealthy Practice.

The hotel definitely has seen better days....
The hotel definitely has seen better days. Both elevators were under repair for most part of our stay. What's nice was being so close to the beach, which was calm and suitable for families with young children.

We had a lovely stay and would go back. The Bamboo Bar with the swing chairs and the choice of food at the resort was lovely with the bars & restaurants right near the beach. The pool was very nice also. Cheers, Sue from Aust

Hotel facilities have seen better days before....
Hotel facilities have seen better days before. Restaurant prices are too high compared to the great value you get for less money outside the hotel. The beach is shabby. Too many elderly charter tourists for my taste.

Hotel was very good however the problems...
Hotel was very good however the problems start as soon as you set foot outside the hotel. The locals are obviously desperate for business and will hassle you to see their shop or buy something from them, often not taking no for an answer. The restaurants outside of the hotel are very good and provide excellent value for money. Watch out when you change money though as on a couple of occasions they tried to rip my partner and I off i.e. trying to give us 80,000 rupiah instead of 800,000 and 7,000 instead of 70,000! An easy mistake to make, Not!
