Lacks professional polish
My stay at Sanur Beach Hotel was ok, I have stayed in better and walked out of worse. For a supposedly 4-5 star hotel it just couldnt stack up against better hotels, such as Novotel, Sheraton etc...
The Hotel is large with a few restaurants, 2 pools and thats about it. The kids club is not staffed, (not that there were any children around) and I couldnt get poolside service, or indeed a meal beside the pool when I wanted one. I am used to having every whim catered for at hotels as I always stay at min 41/2 star, but this one just wasnt interested.
Breakfast was ok, the room was clean, the gardens and beach were nicely kept, but the vibe of the hotel wasnt a altogether happy one. Couldnt find many guests around the hotel enjoying the swim up bar or the beach bar, after a drink at the swim up bar we left and went to the bars on the street outside the hotel which were not cheaper.
The travel desk attendants were lovely, reception staff were ok, however couldnt help me with ordering breakfast to go, instead i was told to return to my room and call the room service myself. I was not happy about this.
The hotel is in a good spot and could be really great if it was more polished and professional.
