Santika is almost perfect with its good location, romantic room, great staffs and delicious american breakfast. We were upgraded to deluxe room and I really appreciate the late check out till 3pm without any surcharge. The concerns are the small size pool and non-swimmable beachfront but its just about 10 minutes walk to Kuta beach. Overall, I had a great time on my last night at Santika.

We really enjoyed our relaxing stay with Santika Beach. It is a beautiful hotel and a haven away from the hustle and bustle of Kuta. We would definately recommend this hotel to couples looking for a relaxing holiday. The staff were lovely and extremely accomodating.
Our 2 week stay in May 2006...
Our 2 week stay in May 2006 was most enjoyable. Have stayed in numerous properties previously (incl. Mandira, Padma, Bintang etc) & this place has definitely gone to the top of the list. The gardens are superb, rooms big & spacious, breakfast top class, all in a beachside location. On the downside, the airconditioning was only adequate and the service particularly at breakfast was occasionally inattentive eg. staff more interested in cleaning up rather than filling up the empty coffee cup. In any case the staff were all extremely friendly and accomodating. Suspect that there could be problems with the service & the relatively small middle pool if the hotel is full - it was only about half full. Great place.

Good location - the best available within the area.
Have stayed in a lot of good hotels in Bali and this will rate with the best of them. For the best accomodation the hotel has to offer try the Bungalows for great facilities privacy and unique outside shower area. Very Bali. Beautifully kept gardens,large staff numbers - all experienced and friendly.
Well worth booking thro Asia Rooms - great rate compared to others on offer.

One of the best resort we have stayed! The butler service, the outdoor shower facility is simply something new! And the environment is very green and relaxing. The pool is small though, but the beach is only close by.

the gardens and the service were the highlights. Lovely surrounds, the staff were very friendly, and the buffet breakfast was very nice. The pools were a tad small but the surrounding gardens and the quiet made up for this.
Would definitely stay here again if I could get another good deal on Asiarooms.

The room was very clean and quite large compared to other properties I have stayed at. The layout of the 2 pool areas was a bit disappointing. The closest pool to my room was quite small and had no bar facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast buffet was great with a good selection of hot and cold foods. Overall I was satisfied with the accomodation and would recommend the hotel to others.

I enjoyed my stay at the Santika Beach. The room was big and clean, the bathroom was large with plenty of hot water and the outdoor shower was nice too. The grounds were very nice and well kept,two large pools, and the location was great. The breakfast was fine and the service at the hotel was efficient, though not as friendly as other Bali hotels. The wood-carver on the hotel grounds does outstanding work. I would stay here again.
