Brilliant as usual!!!
This is the ninth time I have stayed at this beautiful hotel. The location is excellent - just a short walk to major attractions, top restaurants and shopping centres & just a short taxi ride to most other places you want to go to.
Santika is not too big, is right on the beach and has two great restaurants on the premises as well as three bars including a pool bar and beach sunset bar.
The staff are incredibly helpful and really go out of their way to make your stay a memorable experience. The breakfast bar is amazing and has a wide range of cuisines on offer.
I will definitely stay here again (for the 10th time) at xmas time this year and recommend the santika to all my friends and family.

Brilliant as Usual
The room is a bit old and the swimmimg pool in 1'st building is also old.if they change it al more minimalist it would be PERFECT.

We have stayed at the Santika Beach Resort twice now.
The staff are fabulous, the grounds lovely it is quiet, not full of young adults, there are two sections one mainly for families, with a pool the other quieter with a pool.
We always like to stay here. it's close to restaurants, on the beach, walking distance to Kuta sq and Poppies Lane. The breakfasts are the best. Though the resort is a few years old now, it has that traditional Balinese style which we love. Can highly recommend this resort.

Fantastic hotel but poor WIFI service
The location is located near the end of the Kuta Beach area. This location provide a quieter location but near to the main Kuta shopping area. They have a own beach area at their hotel.
Room is big and clean, however, the breakfast is not great.
The service of the hotel staff is commendable and good.
Wifi / Internet service is terrible. Cannot get connected to the wifi consistently.

Excellent Accommodation
This is an excellent property. Staff are very friendly and the location is ideal on the beach and next to shopping. Breakfast is very extensive and meals and drinks are well priced.

Fantastic hotel and staff. Beautiful gardens and setting. Can't wait to return.
Great resort
We stayed for 6 nights. Check in was very pleasant as we arrived in the evening, the staff gave us a drink with lemongrass and it was very refreshing. This resort is very big. This resort has been well maintained over the years. It is very clean, inside the rooms and around the gardens. Very well presented - The furniture is in good condition, the chairs are comfortable. (comfortable for large people). The buffet breakfast is huge. You can have Asian or Western food, and there is no shortage to choose from. The staff are very friendly, they ask about your day, how's your room, is there anything they can do for you etc.
I used the Samatha Spa attached to the hotel. This is a luxury Spa and well worth it, after all you get what you pay for. So go here, not to the ones on the street. Ask for Dessi. She is absolutely lovely and gives a great massage and facials. I highly recommend this place.
We stayed in a Pemier room on the 3rd floor that overlooks the pool. It was a great room and the bed as huge, however it was too hard for my back. But some kids were in the pool at 7.30am and made such a racket that people on the ground floor were complaining. Parents need to look after their kids and be more considerate of others.
This hotel has good security, we always felt safe. The restaurants had great food. The Sands on the beach was recently refurbished and had great lounges to sit and have a drink watching the sunset. Over all I highly recommend this hotel to couples, singles, and families. It may cost a bit more but it was well worth it. At the back of the hotel along the beach, there is a wide path that takes you all the way into Kuta - The Discovery Mall only a 5 - 10 minutes walk away. We used it more than the uneven footpaths on the main road where you are always getting hassled by street sellers.
