This is the second time we have stayed at the Alam Puri. This time it was great for us as it was close to business we had in Denpasar and Ubud. We love the facility. The privacy is fabulous and the staff attentive only if you want them to be. Having a private plunge pool in the heat of Bali is always a plus. The property is in the countryside and my wife and I love walking so we always enjoy finding trails through rice paddies. If you are looking for this kind of experience, you will love this place.

We went to Alam Puri to completely...
We went to Alam Puri to completely relax and we did. It is outside the city of Dempasar on the way Ubud in a completely traditional Balinese village. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The hotel restaurant is excellent and very reasonably priced. We loved walking out in the countryside through the rice paddies. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to Ubud twice a day for those who feel the need to be in some hustle and bustle.

Alam Puri is a beautiful place, and...
Alam Puri is a beautiful place, and the staff very friendly. On the down side, the food there was not great, and not very cheap. Also, the hot tub and pool bar were not open, and the spa facilities seemed to be out of action, too. Over all, though, it was a lovely place to stay! Oh, and if you book through asia rooms they don't include the complimentary airport transfer!!

The hotel was really nice with a friendly staff. Very good service. The only thing that we did not like, was that Asia Rooms wrote it was close to Ubud. We were with friends staying in Ubud and it was an inconvinience to drive back and forth every day. Kind regards. Mette and Morten.

This hotel would require some renovation. It...
This hotel would require some renovation. It was certainly nice in the past but it seems that it has not been maintained well. All facilities could really receive an upgrade. Location is not that great either, and definitely not Ubud.

Well, overall is fine but the room...
Well, overall is fine but the room (it's actually a room converted from a double story heritage house and somehow too spacious for just a couple to stay) and the location is the biggest drawback in my opinion. However, all beside are pretty good, I enjoy the pool and the scenery quite much... Worth a try, my last comments. Cheers.

We love staying at this hotel, the...
We love staying at this hotel, the room was huge and very clean. We had 2 stories villa with private plunge pool and view to the rice field. The breakfast was not too good but hotel staffs were so helpfull. Actually the location is in Denpasar not in Ubud, but it's just right since we're going to Ubud and Kuta by turns. It's easier for us because the hotel located in the middle.
