We loved the tranquility of the hotel,...
We loved the tranquility of the hotel, the professional service and the little touches that the hotel provided for our honeymoon! The chocolate mousse and sparkling rose wine really made it so much more special for us! We will be back soon!

Room is smaller than expected. Not like...
Room is smaller than expected. Not like the one I see on website. No TV. Very quiet and tranquail. Not suitable for family but good for those seeking peace and quiet. Wonderful pool but most people stay around pool suntaning or reading. I had to restrain my 2 (already rather well behave) kids to constantly reduce their talking and giggling. Location is not far from Ubud town but free transport is not regular and does not run in the late evenings. Overall I think nice place for couples.

Overall, I felt very happy/relaxing for staying...
Overall, I felt very happy/relaxing for staying in Alilas Ubud. The hotel is nice while the scenery is naturally great. Perfect swimming pool on the hill with perfect view. Back to nature when no TV is the room. The location is a bit far from Ubud but this is compensated by the hotel's free shuttle bus service to the Ubud town. No choices for dinner much and only can eat in the hotel which is a little expense (but food is good).

The best part of ALILA is the...
The best part of ALILA is the swimming pool, good size and stunning view. I stayed in the villa, despite its spacious size with the outdoor tub , I didn't feel as comfortable because it's not quite clean and well-maintained. Shower room and toilet room is partly opened makes it a bit dirty and full of insects ! The place is aged. There's no TV in room! Staffs are helpful, a guy from computer department was very helpful with my ipod problem. Breakfast is good. I think the hotel needs a renovation.

A wonderfull hotel! Location and views were...
A wonderfull hotel! Location and views were just stunning. The staff were extremely pleasant and always ready to help in any way. The only gripe we had was the bed which was a bit "bouncy" and when one of us moved, the other was woken up. Other than that we had a wonderful time and look forward to staying there again soon! Great pool and great location in the...
Great pool and great location in the middle of rice terraces and jungle... rooms are correct and the pool is fantastic. This hotel need to be avoid if do not like to pay 7 euros for a beer or 12 euros for a cocktail... Everything except the room is very expensive especially for Bali and for the global quality of this hotel. Bring your USD they like it... Any expedition even a very simple like walking for 2 hours will cost you 40 usd if you do it through the hotel...

A little far from Ubud but nice...
A little far from Ubud but nice road access through the paddy fields with nice walks opportunities; the spa is nice and the (famous) swimming pool outstanding; nevertheless the rooms and bathrooms are average and not as nice as other hotels of the same category in Bali and a little too small; insonorisation between rooms is not perfect and -despite of the kindness of the balinese staff- service is not often at the top (i.e. big mistake in dinner ordering and room not ready on arrival at 3 p.m. !).
