We have a wonderful stay at Alila...
We have a wonderful stay at Alila Ubud with the fanstastic interior ambient and villa set up. Most importantly, I am 100% satisfy with the friendly service and the activities arrange by the hotel. Dinner at the award winning pool side is the most remarkable. Will stay at Alila again and next time will try Alila Mangis.

A lovely hotel, wonderful peaceful setting in the jungle in Ubud with fantastic scenery. The pool really is as good as the pictures! All staff were warm and welcoming providing a excellent service.

Alila was great! you live in the...
Alila was great! you live in the middle of the jungle, on top of the hill, with all the comforts and services of a five star hotel. We had a superior room (the cheapest, as it's quite expensive, definitely not for budget travellers!), and we had a magnificent view of the forest around, it's so peaceful and natural. The bathroom is kind of original, with a full size glass door facing outside so you have an impression of showering in the nature, while still having complete privacy. The food was good, considering there were almost no guest when we were there (low season), it was a big surprise! Well it's a bit out of town, but it's where all the big hotels are in Ubud. Also, if you come to Ubud, it's more about enjoying nature, if you want action, go to Kuta, but Ubud is our favorite so far. It may be boring if you have small kids, but it's perfect for couples, honeymooners.

Beautiful place, beautiful architecture, very quiet, lots...
Beautiful place, beautiful architecture, very quiet, lots of local type of activities, menu at restaurant at restaurant is too few and expensive, location is good for those who prefer serenity and closeness to nature.

We have a very pleasant and relax...
We have a very pleasant and relax stay in Alila. I was extremely happy with the suprise romantic dinner which I has arranged for my wife's birthday. The staff tried their outmost best to meet all my requests. I will certainly return or recommend the hotel to my friends.

Though the hotel is a bit far...
Though the hotel is a bit far away from the town, the hotel shuttle bus runs every hour from 10am to 7pm. It is a long distance from the hotel reception to the hotel gate (probably about 15 min to walk). Not a ideal place to stay if you want to wander around the neighbourhood. The room was the smallest one among the 5 hotels I've stayed in Bali and there is no bath tub in the room. Yet, the balcony facing the forest is nice and cozy.A place for couples to stay but won't recommend to families.

very nice boutique hotel with stylish design...
very nice boutique hotel with stylish design rooms ans gorgeous swimming pool - a bit far from ubud (like most of luxury hotels) but a free shuttle goes there several times a day - had a nice surprise on arrival as a free massage or trekking was offered ! great food also. Definitly recommand it to people who like design hotels with intimate atmosphere

We ve booked villas which we liked...
We ve booked villas which we liked very much but ask for view on the valley ..;even better specially room 303 or 304 (we were 403 and 404 with just garden view). special recognition for food .

Whoua! The Ubud Alila is a unique...
Whoua! The Ubud Alila is a unique experience. We has such a great time there...First, you're welcomed at the front desk which is in front of a deep green valley... You walk away and you look down at the most-beautiful-ever swimming pool. Palm trees, fair clouds, green rice fields, the forest around... You feel good. You need to stay here and breathe the sounds and fascinating colours coming from all around you. Fantastic. Everything is just perfect. The 3 o'clock tea-time @ the swimming-pool, the menu -fusion balinese food-, the staff, your perfect room. I can't wait to be back in Ubud.
