The hotel is located in a lovely area of Bali. In other words....it's blissfully uncrowded!
The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are nicely appointed and the service very friendly and gracious. We were there at a time when bookings were very low and suppose that some of the extra attention we got was because the employees had time on their hands. We had one of the garden villas and I recommend that type of room over the standard room if you like privacy and can afford the price difference. Next to us was a pool villa. Since it was unoccupied I snuck over to look at their set up.... very nice. Our villa was steps from the upper hotel pool in the complex, so we did not miss having a private pool. The mineral water hot tub in our garden more than made up for it! One word of caution... being this close to the hotel's pool can have it's drawbacks as we found out the evening a very noisy family checked in and decided to use it! We suggested to the hotel they make that pool area a "quiet zone" due to the proximity of guest rooms. There is another huge pool on the property located far from the rooms and a perfect place for little ones to do their squealing and playing!
All in all, the place is a great getaway!
