a wonderful big villa with beautiful garden and large pool
Paradise at Pemuteran
I am so thrilled I made the big trek to Pemuteran and stayed at this gorgeous place! I booked the Island trip with the Dive Centre there and snorkelled at Menjangan Island! I really enjoyed snorkelling the magnificent Coral Garden. It was such a beautiful place and I wish I had spent longer there!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay but were adv on arrival that the agent the booking went thru had been adv that only twin bds were available at this time. This was not passed back thru to asia rooms, but room clean and neat. Mosquito nets effective and grounds were kept in immaculate condition. Breakast was more than adequate but the restaurant food bus less than average, Hotel is very isolated but in a good position on the beach. Only real downside was all beach chairs were under thick trees on black beach and none placed around pool. The weight of the chairs was a major deterrent to moving them. Dive school attached to hotel was great with very freindly staff though rates a little rich!!! My snorkelling companion for two days was so kind and very informative, pointing out things I would never have seen on my own. On the whole I felt that the whole hotel was aimed at the European Market with the Euro much stronger than the Aussie Dollar this made all things a little too expensive. but the diving and snorkelling was magic and by far the best Bali has to offer. We will save up and sure the rates drop or the dollar strengthen we definately will be back. P>S> Great Greek restaurant two door up!!!!!

There are now two Taman Sari locations with ours being the older and more budget conscious location.
We love the feeling of the Taman Sari which offers the vacationer an oasis from the hub bub of every day living. This is not the place for those desiring a "night life" but for those who want a serene, relaxing, respite along the ocean.
The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. In two years we've had only the best of service.
The breakfast included with our stay is one of the best as the restaurant offers a variety from a full breakfast to ordering what you want a la carte.
Lunch and dinners were delightful and the price is right.
Snorkeling can be done right off the beach and the best is spending a day at Menjangan Island where the tropical fish life is astounding. We saw everything from starfish to a moray eel along with Nemo and his twins.
We've noticed that some of the buildings are getting to look a bit worn, but that's a small thing unless you're someone who wants everything pristine.
Simply for a delightful, relaxing place to stay that also offers enough activities with snorkeling, mountain hikes, etc., you can't go wrong by staying at Taman Sari.

We arrived early for check-in and the staff was most accommodating. As our room was ready, they took us right to it, briefly explained the services offered in and around the resort, brought us cold drinks and cold towels. I liked the size of this resort - not too big and right on the ocean. The spa services were excellent. The food was also very good. The pool was nice to have but the water was very warm, not much you can do about that when it is 85 - 90 degrees every day. We did not have much in the way of amenities, just a bar of soap, but we came prepared. We also only had one towel each but did not mind as they are focused on preserving the environment, and do not want to cater to people who use 4 towels in one day and expect them to be replaced every day. The bartenders at the pool bar were a pleasure to talk with. We really enjoyed our stay.

It was fantastic, the staff were great, the coral on Manjagan Island brilliant + outside the Hotel. The dive co attached to the hotel were so good!
