Due to a technical defect on the plain from Singapore, we could only enjoy 1 night in this wonderfull hotel, such a pitty!!

We have had a pleasant week at Puri Bagus Lovina. It's af very welcoming hotel for people like us, who wants to have some calm days in beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed it very much.
The service is friendly and in top. The beach is rather stony, whereas the swimmingpool was very comfortable. The well-kept tropical garden is an experience in itself.
The restaurant of the hotel is OK. And close to the hotel you can find a number of good local restaurants serving food of good quality.

Lovely hotel. We stayed there for our honeymoon and enjoyed the gorgeous cottage and wonderful seaview. The pool and spa were good too.

I stayed here in Mach 2006 and toataly veged out reading and just looking at the Bali Sea. The location is beautiful but a away out of Lovina, so be prepaired for a long walk if you choose to do so. The rooms are huge but sparten, the bathroom was ok and the bed comfortable. The service during the day was poor, the staff unatentive (thats if you could spot them) if you wanted a drink I had to go up, find someone and ask. The food at the restaurant was ok, they excelled with the Nasi Gorenge. this is a fair hotel, great for a honeymoon but I would not stay for more than 3 nightsas you are not close to other food places.

We stayed for 2 weeks. Location suited us, a little out of Lovina and right on the beach. Restaurant quite good (menu a little limited for longer stays) but there are 2 good restaurants just outside the hotel. We particularly liked Warung Bambu, where we did a cooking class and spent NYE. Hotel gardens and pool are beautiful. Quiet and relaxing, not too many hawkers along the beach, just enough to do some shopping. Day Spa is very very good, more expensive than some others but staff are very well trained and surroundings lovely. We intend to go back soon. Recommended.
To be greeted late at night by...
To be greeted late at night by a Orchestra was a delight. The service, although lite at times, was always friendly and unobtrusive. The staff were always most helpful in arranging tours or dinning experiences. The Spring feed pool was a haven in the humid climate. The grounds are meticulously kept and a joy to wander.It is located in an area of Bali that deserves time to investigate and enjoy.
My only other suggestion would be; - When you arrive - Turn off, and enjoy the quiet surroundings that this Hotel has to offer.This Hotel is very secluded
Too expensive for the service you get....
Too expensive for the service you get. When we arrived at 2PM, it was hard to find someone to check in. We found a snake in the bathroom and have to wait more than 30 minutes before someone came ! Hopefully the garden is beautiful
