Spent 5 days at Pelangi Bali during May 2005. Very reasonably priced with big hot breakfast thrown in. The rooms could do with a spruce up ie. coat of paint but we found our room to be clean and quiet. Staff are friendly & helpful. Hotel close to everything. The pool is large, deep and refreshing but did find those Hawkers that sit outside the hotel beach steps waving their wares relentless & it made the place tacky. The hotel should move the hawkers on to allow the pool side area & its guests some ambience. It appears to be the only hotel in the area that indulged them.

My family & I have recently returned from a holiday in Bali & a stay at the Pelangi Hotel (March2005). I have to say I was very disappointed with my first impressions as I was lead to believe this was a 4 star resort & only 3-4 years old. In my opinion the hotel, the rooms & the facilities in general are looking, smelling & feeling tired. Throw out the bath towels, throw out the bed sheets, clean those pebbles in the bathroom which are covered in shampoo/conditioner & goodness knows what else and shout yourselves some NEW NEW NEW ones. And whilst you're at it get rid of the damp & musty smelling rooms & give them a FRESH coat of paint. A few frangipani's laid out on our pillows would be a lovely Bali touch too. The Pelangi has heaps going for it, it's very well located and the staff are 10/10, but please please give the place a spruce up.

Having stayed at the Pelangi Hotel twice already and about to stay for the third time. my husband and I and a couple that we travel with are more than happy with the hotel. We have found the rooms to be very clean and well kept, as is all the hotel. The staff are very friendly and make your stay extra special. The breakfast is very good value and will hold you over your lunch time. Dinner at night by the pool is a great way to dine. Enjoy and Relax go Pelangi it's SAFE.

Myself and my family stayed at the pelangi in september 2003 we found it an awesome experience the hotel itself was very clean, child friendly and very accessible to most while remaining out of the hussle of kuta we found scootering to kuta much better than transport. The free buffet breakie was an added bonus with the cliche friendly balinese people. Loved the decor of the stone and tiled rooms. Beach out front.
