The welcome at the Westin was incredible. All of the staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. We traveled with our children aged 7 years and a baby aged 16months. I was surprised to see how well children were catered for with the menu even including baby friendly food (ie; puree, scrambled eggs and mash, yogurt with fruit etc). Our 7 y.o really enjoyed the kids club and the facilities and staff were great. While there is a baby pool, a baby/toddler must stand up, there is no gradual gradient making pool time play a bit complicated.
The linen and towelling is great and overall the room was good, except for a few things. The mirrors weren't clean nor the windows in the bathroom. The floor in our bathroom wasn't built with a correct slope so that the water didn't drain after we had a shower, instead it stayed pooled along the wall. The king bed our family suite was not as comfortable as the doubles in our children's room. I mention these things because this a premium priced hotel. All hotels regardless of star rating should be clean so as to make you feel that you are the first person to use the room, I didn't feel that way.
Whilst the hotel is great, it is very expensive, and I don't mean by Bali standards I mean expensive regardless. It really should include breakfast, we had to pay an additional $30US a day for 2 adults. Whilst everyone expects a markup at a hotel this seemed to have gone a bit too far in every aspect, with most people sitting by the pool clutching their free bottle of water as opposed to sipping on some juice/cocktail/wine etc. Having said that the Indian food at the Capsicum Cafe is delicious. The best Indian food I have had in a very long time. Compliments to the Chef.

My family enjoyed our two days stay...
My family enjoyed our two days stay at this hotel though a short one. The reception was good when we arrived, drinks and cold towers were served. It impressed us. The price for the breakfast is a little steep otherwise we had good times at this hotel.

We had a very nice time in Westin Hotel Bali. The breakfast was great, all people were so friendly. We felt like home and we will defenetly come back.
Very nice lobby, I thought the hotel...
Very nice lobby, I thought the hotel was larger from some of the reviews (it's indeed large, but it's basically next to several other hotels, so that the whole complex look bigger) Sheraton Laguna, Nusa Dua Beach, Melia and so on...they more or less look similar, you can easily spend time also in any of these hotels. Beach is not that great though, hoped for better. Low/High tide has a major impact though.
Buffet Breakfast is delicious and well furnished. Gym for free, Room pretty large with balcony and nice bathroom. Overall a good experience. Nice staff.

Located at the exclusive Nusa Dua stretch, protected by multiple levels of security checks, The Westin Nusa Dua imparts a sense of security. Service was immaculate. Facilities were great. Generally, two thumbs up.

We had a classic pool room for...
We had a classic pool room for 15 nights and had a great stay. The location, facilities and service could not be faulted. The lads in the Ikan bar were great craic and the food in Portraits was outstanding. A wonderful holiday experience which we can't wait to repeat. Well done Mr Jan and your fantastic staff!
A very westernised hotel, not much of...
A very westernised hotel, not much of Balinese style to speak. I stayed in a garden view room for 10 days, and the room is pretty big. There's bathtub available. Bed is comfortable and big. Room is clean. Balcony is nice. The only thing about the room is that it gets pretty noisy whenever it rains. The swimming pool seems to have heaters for the pool water is not cold in the early morning (6am). Breakfast is good, but for someone who have stayed there for 10 days, you get tired of the rotating dishes after a few days. Location (Nusa Dua) is quiet.
