I booked with Asia rooms.com for the first time but it will not be the last, i was upgraded when i got there and the room was unreal.
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Inna Sindu in as many years. Previously we have chosen it for price and location. On checking in, reception was going to place us in a standard room until I pointed out we had paid for a cottage. The cottage where we stayed had been renovated, bath removed and replaced with a shower which was fine except they had not replaced cracked tiles. A new basin had been installed but the actual vanity unit had not been replaced where there were cigarette burns from previous guests. Breakfast which was included in the room price really was very average, we eat breakfast out on 3 occassions. There seemed to be quite a few of families staying there and also a tourist group. The staff were nice and friendly, the hotel employees a lot of trainees. Of the 3 hotels we stayed in the Inna Sindu was the most expensive for high season and we would most likely choose another hotel on our next visit to Sanur

Best thing about this hotel is that it is just beside the beach.
The direction where the sun rises. We caught two sunrises during our 4 days there.
This place is good for senior citizen because the maximum is two levels buildings. Most of the rooms are only one level.
We didn't see many foreigners in the hotels. Mostly local business meeting people.
The breakfast was nothing fantastic however you still get your omelet, fried egg and etc.
We had 3 rooms for 4 nights, two out of three rooms's aircond was not cold enough.
The most interesting thing was regulation hours for hotwater use. No hot water after certain time or in between the day.
Staff were friendly but not overly helpful. They were slightly below average in service.
Overall though, it was a nice hotel. The best feature will still be the fact that it was beside the beach with lots of shops along to beach for you to do some extra shopping you missed in Ubud or Kuta.

We stayed in a sea View 6 nights in oct'08. The room is excellent for the budget.
Staff were extremely friendly and ready to help at any time of the day or night. We'd definitely recommend this place to any of our friends and family.
Inna Sindhu, is part of a government...
Inna Sindhu, is part of a government hotel chain which was formerly known as Natour. So, we knew what to expect in contrast to commercial hotels. Service is laid-back, and sometimes poor. Breakfast served invariably by trainees. Government workshops at the hotel. Empty first aid kit at the reception. The anniversary of the hotel celebrated on sunday morning 7.00 o'clock with very loud loudspeakers. We knew this style of service before I booked the hotel, so, I didnot mind so much and didnot let all this prevent us from having an enjoyable stay at the hotel and Sanur at a superior location. So if you have a similar attitude as me I recommend this hotel to you, if you get bothered by what I wrote before, just get another place.

The breckfast was ok. The swiming pool's statue is not nice at all.
The staff was nice except the first night when we had to stay at the Sinha Palace where the receptionnist was awful.

An older hotel but you get value for your money.
The rooms are big (room 218) and are clean.
The location is perfect with see view and close to the center of town (incl. Mc Donalds).
The only negatives are the swimmingpool which is dated and not very clean. And the breakfast buffet has not much variation.
