What you get is what you pay for
Booked through asiarooms.com. No issues with the booking and check in. Payment was on checkout.
Attending a function in The westin @ nusa dua. So this place was the nearer option with the best rate at the moment (compared to 2-3 times the price of other nearby options).
Checked in late with no issues. Do not get hotel pickup - they quoted 200,000 rp while an airport taxi cost 95,000 rp. The front door staff were cheerful and relatively helpful.
The hotel was more of a duplex building. Booked for single room villa but they only had 2 bedroom villa - one of the rooms were locked. The living and dining area was large and it had a small patio overlooking the common swimming pool. Large kitchen and an okay bathroom. The 2 rooms were small and felt cramp with 2 single beds. The furniture was old but relatively clean (for a 17 yr old property). Lighting in the bathroom was poor.
The BAD:
Had to pay 20,000 rp for a day use iron and ironing board.
During low seasons, the regular staff will only be on duty from 7am to 11pm. After those hours, only security will be manning the establishment, so no help given during that time if any problems arises (totally unacceptable) - no housekeeping, no reception, no nothing.
Complimentary breakfast menu was VERY LIMITED. 3 options of breakfast and barely acceptable.
A good 200 metre walk to the beach via a small back lane with mosquitoes.
Wifi only available in the lobby/ restaurant area and probably in villas nearer to it.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here, but...
Overall we enjoyed our stay here, but the location was not on the beach and there were no sun loungers for the hotel guests after 10 minute walk down there. The staff were helpful and we enjoyed the pool and tennis court to ourselves most of the time. Villas are spacious and clean, but a little tired, but for the price you defintely could not complain. Breakfast was a bit limited, but there was certainly enough to eat. The Bali Collection was reasonably close and was good for shopping and eating.

The whole experience started with a bad misunderstanding. I booked a one-bedroom villa with pool view, and when we checked in, they said that the booking agency did not put up the request that we wanted a pool view and all the pool view villas were taken up.
After clarifying with the agency, we finally gotten a 3-bedroom villa with pool view, with the condition that 2 rooms to be locked up.
Breakfast wasn't that fantastic, but enough to make do with to start a day.
The staff were friendly and prompt in responding to any requests put up by the guests. They were extremely helpful when they realised that I had injured my ankle and did their best to assist me.

We booked a 2-room villa and while the place did look a little jaded in some places, our room was huge, with a large living room, dining space and spacious bathrooms, certainly adequate for a group of 4-6 persons. The kitchen, with fridge and utensils, was especially useful when we decided to eat in, which we had to because the Nusa Dua shuttle bus did not pass by the hotel when we were there.
The hotel breakfast was very limited, with the buffet breakfast available only on certain days. However, on days when the buffet was not available, guests were allowed to pick from the a la carte menu instead. Staff were generally very friendly and always tried their best despite sometimes not having a very good command of English. Only major grouse was that when we needed to check out early (6.30 am), the reception staff could not be found for 15 mins.
