It has nice, spacious, clean and elegant rooms. Resort's set-up is properly arranged and with a romantic feel... and specially beach front location...
Good clean hotel
Although it looks old fashioned from outside, the Hotel has all modern amnities well maintained. Very good for romantic stay/family. We spent our honeymoon here and must say the best expereince of all other hotels we stayed in bali. Room service and food is fantastic, very friendly reception and clean surroundings including beach and pool. Famous Bambu bali restaurant and other facilities in Nusa Dua very nearby.
Lovely resort
This resort is typically Balinese and very beautiful. The room was large, comfortable and clean. Then gardens were just delightful, and very private. It faces onto the beach where there is an array of water sports if so inclined.
In all a very lovely resort, and would recommend without hesitation.
Very friendly and obliging staff. Fantastic location right on the beach. Would stay here again if we return to Bali

My stay in this hotel was excellent. Beautiful large thatch-roof rooms in the old Bali style, very clean basic rooms but wonderful atmosphere with secluded veranda to sit on ,set in lovely well maintained gardens.Benoa is a very good area and there are plenty of restaurants within short walking distance of the hotel also the hotel restaurant is very good .I would definetly recommend this hotel for a peaceful, relaxing holiday at a reasonable price.

Yes, I like this hotel especially the room size is good, lots of space. Bathroom is average but would suggest providing bath soaps. There is no tea/coffee facility in room so is a bit inconvenient as every time you need hot water, you need to get it from the cafe. Staff is friendly and the whole facility is very well maintained. My only wish that the beach front could be cleaner. I would recommend for couples who are looking for a quiet getaway. Not recommended for children.

Matahari Terbit is a very nice, small and quiet hotel with a lovely tropical garden. It is the best joice for people who like to escape from the daly stress.
