I enjoyed my stay at the Swastika very much, I was very pleased with the service provided and the cleanliness of the room. I can recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to come to Bali!

Great value for money and centrally located....
Great value for money and centrally located. Staff were really good any problems got sorted straight away. Pool area a bit neglected could do with new beds and cleaning up a bit. Breakfast was really poor but at the price's around you could go and buy one from outside. We all had a great time there and it is really good value for money.

In need of refurbishment. No TV, no Fridge (pay a nominal fee for fridge and TV) floor is not carpeted, only continental breakfast is provided. For young budget traveler, it's alright.

Swastika Bungalows is well located in the middle of Sanur with shops & restaurants in either direction and only a short walk to the beach. The room was a good size and very clean with sheets & towels changed daily. The bathroom was outside (and open air!) but that was quite fun & it's warm so it doesn't matter. The rooms could have done with more lights because there weren't many and it seemed a bit dingy at night. The fee breakfast was the usual basic Balinese (fruit, taost & a pastry, juice, tea/coffee) & was perfectly adequate for us. If you're trying to travel Bali on a Budget, Swastika Bungalows are very good value for money, and it has two GREAT pools!

the pools were comfortable. the decorative masks in the bedroom were a bit creepy tho.
The staff are friendly and helpful. check out Joli Cafe on the same street.
if you are really on a budget, it is the place to start off, and other places go even lower.

Swastika Bungalows would have to be my favourite budget/economy style hotel in Bali that i've discovered to date. The fan cooled rooms are fantastic value with lovely outdoor bathrooms adding the authentic Balinese touch, and simple but tastefully funished bungalows. The gardens are beautiful and you can have breakfast included in the restaurant overlooking the main pool. Desk staff are very efficient too. After two stays i'll definitely be back again! paula
