OK the room was a little small...
OK the room was a little small - only booking a Superior which consisted of a king + a roll away for 2 adults and 2 small kids, but we didn't go to Bali to sit in our room! The room was always cleaned to spotless. The pool was on the smaller side - but it is a smaller resort and we found that mostly we had it to ourselves, as not many others seemed to swim?? Watch out for the early risers who reserve their sunbeds at the crack of dawn! The service was EXCELLENT and could not be faulted. Happy Hour at the pool bar was great, and the bar snacks delicious! There is room service, a brasserie on site with internet. A great smaller hotel in a really convenient location - close to Waterbom, Discovery, markets, laundry etc. Some fantastic local restaurants nearby. Close enough to Kuta Central - but also far enough away! Enjoyed our stay - and will most likely stay again!

The service was very good.The Buffet breakfast had a good variety plus good service. The laundry was prompt and a good price.Very professional service and we felt safe and secure.Housekeeping was very good as well.
For a 3 star property this is...
For a 3 star property this is excellent. The rooms and bedding were clean and tidy. The bathroom was adequate and the location was easy walking distance to everything. I stayed with my elderly mother who does not have very good mobility and the staff were fabulous in providing assistance where ever required. I have never stayed at a hotel and met so many nice people in both staff and other hotel guests. I would be certainly stay there again.
I booked 3 Superior Room for families...
I booked 3 Superior Room for families of 6 adults & 1 child. We arrive to the hotel late, about 2pm (due to flight delay). The reception tell me only 1 room is ready. And ask me to wait for about 30mins for the other 2 rooms. So, we put all our luggage in one room and go for lunch instead. We come back at about 4:15pm, the reception tell me one of the room still not ready! I can’t believe it! We've waited another 30mins to get all the 3 rooms. That was almost 5pm!! Very disappointed!! And sadly one of the room given was a smoking room, which I’ve requested for non-smoking room!
The rooms are clean, but many mosquito! Electric kettle, hair dryer, disposable slippers are provided in each room. Air-con has no problem. The gardener in Bali Rani has the most friendliness smile, he maintains the Lotus Pond very well! And so as the café staffs for breakfast, was always served with a smile! The food was average, however the breakfast tea was too thin like water!
Great location with shopping mall, 24hrs convenience shop, coffee house, bakery, all within 5mins walking distance.

Value for the money! The location is great and it is only a walking distance to the Discovery Mall and shops along the road.
The room was pretty good. It was just that the room cleaning should not only cleans the bed and bathroom but the room floor also needs to be mopped everyday.
The breakfast menu was ok and the cafe staff were very helpful and friendly.
Definitely, I would stay here again for my next trip to Bali.
My stay at the Bali Rani was...
My stay at the Bali Rani was very relaxing, to walk out of my room to the pool and enjoy the pool side service, peace and quiet was wonderful. I orginally booked a Superior Room - after a few days I asked to be upgraded to a Deluxe room, the staff were very helpful and changed my booking as soon as another room was available. My room was very clean and the grounds were impecable. The Bali Rani Restauants are very clean, good food and as usual it was always "service with a smile". Would I stay at the Bali Rani again - YES - the hotel is located in a good position - walking distance to Centro - 500 metres from the hotel, markets, 24 hour convenience shop next door for supplies etc. I have recommended the Bali Rani to my work colleagues as a place to just lie back, relax and be pampered.

The Bali Rani is a superbly run hotel with very professional staff. Our room was the cheapest category but huge and very well furnished. The pool area and terraces were kept spotless. Breakfast was excellent. There was no safe in the room but there were large safe deposit boxes at reception which were big enough to take a netbook or small laptop. Wifi was overpriced at around £3.00 an hour. The hotel is very near the Bali Discovery mall, which has a great selection of shops, restaurants and a superb bakery downstairs by the entrance.
