This hotel was fantastic in everyway! Our stay was superb - beautiful grounds, very friendly staff, great cleanliness and excellent value for money. The location is more suited to couples or people wanting a relaxing holiday as it is not as busy as the likes of resorts such as kuta but taxi's are cheap if people do want to venture out. Would love to visit again.

The hotel is perfectly situated and has a wonderful relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff. Breakfast was good, especially European brown bread and pastries. They must have the best pastry chef in Asia! We didn't enjoy the choice of music and the band in the afternoons and evenings, as it was intrusive and far too noisy. Other than breakfast, the food is rather average, however, there are plenty of good restaurants just outside the hotel. Overall, it is a very nice hotel, and we would stay there again.

Stayed for only 3 days, wish we stayed for our whole time in Bali. Beautiful resort, nicest facilities ive seen in Bali. Variety of pools but guests would place belongings on the lounges before breakfast then nothing available all day. The grounds are huge so you had to prepared to walk a fair way to room/restaurant/beach, I would stay in a villa next time instead of the Club rooms that were 3 flights of stairs up(although the Club did provide us with our own pool with no kids allowed) Great buffet for breakfast and lovely afternoon tea. The beach itself isnt postcard perfect at low tide but the great lounges and swim out pavillions made the beach a nice experience. Water sports are freely available from here also, very handy.

A fine hotel! I especially enjoyed the lush landscaping, statuary, and the generally overgrown, hedonistic quality of the place. Another good factor was the variety of ways of enjoying the beach and the pools. There were lounges, beds, cabanas, chairs—many ways to sample the sun and the comfortable, walk-in water. At times the beach was a mess, but that was no fault of the hotel, in fact, they sent their people out to clean up the incoming debris all the time. The service at this hotel was impeccable, with smiles and greetings from everyone involved. Breakfast was not extensive, but thoroughly adequate. The food at the seaside restaurant was fabulous, probably because they used the same chef as the the Mezzanine Restaurant in front of the hotel, a highly recommended Bali eatery. All in all, after three hotels in three trips, this was my favorite place to stay in Bali.

Nice hotel, with excellent staff and friendly service. Only down side was a lack of service for food and beverages around the pool area in the Santrian Club. The Mezzanine restaurant is well worth a look -world class restaurant.

We had reserved a Beach Wing room and were upgraded to a suite room in the Beach Wing area. Had requested a room on low floor; the upgrade was to a room on third floor, but, the room was worth the climb! The Puri Santrian had plenty of pool chairs available at all times, even though the hotel was full.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THIS RESORT!...
WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THIS RESORT! WE BOOKED TWO ADJOINING ROOMS IN THE PURI SANTRIAN CLUB WHICH WAS PERFECT FOR A FAMILY WITH 3 TEENAGERS. A GREAT VALUE FOR THE PRICE! WHETHER EATING AT THE HOTEL OR AT NEARBY RESTAURANTS, IT WAS INCREDIBLY CHEAP TO EAT IN BALI. WE HAD TWO ISSUES...WE GOT BIT UP BY MOSQUITOS, SO BRING REPELLANT. GETTING SERVICE, WHEN IN A HURRY WAS AN ISSUE A FEW TIMES.

Room was really really big as what I read from other reviews. Staff are friendly, and what's more? There is 2 PC with free internet access in their lounge. Has 3 swimming pools, not too big though, but nevertheless, not bad for just sitting and sun tanning on the benches. Beach wise, i must say that the sand is a bit rough and grainy. Good view, but like all beaches around there, not advisable to be running in the sand barefooted as there are many small seashell fragments in the sand. A couple of small restaurant by the sea for dinner with relatively good food and affordable prices. If you need something cheaper, go out by the main gate, and the restaurant just on the left serves cheaper food and good as well, though I waited quite some time for my food because of the crowds there. Overall, this is a good place to just sit back, relax and unwind.

We stayed in this hotel last year...
We stayed in this hotel last year in the smaller rooms in the garden section but much prefer the Club suites, well worth the little bit extra you pay for them.' The staff are brilliant and so helpful and always smiling. Previous to that we stayed at the 'sister' hotel - Griya Santrian, just as good, slightly smaller complex further along in Sanur. The only downside to the stay at the Puri, the club suites get afternoon tea thrown in, but we were told we didn't qualify as we had paid for full American breakfast (when booking) even though we only ate continental. Seems the booking just said 'incl breakfast' without being given a choice or told that a Continental included afternoon tea. So next year when we go again we will look further into this..As we will definitely be going back to the Puri Santrian.
