The staff was very friendly, however need much more attention to the substance of guest services such as concieage services (i.e. information on activities on the island, help with planning the day, restuarants, entertainment, car rental, tours etc..).
The rooms are much to dark, and need to have better insect control (Mosquitoes, moths, flying ants. geckos/lizards are a constant irritant.)
The Hotel is quite far from the beach (a good 10 minute walk) which is not highlighted on the web sight.
The restaurant however is very good, and the private pool per villa lots of fun.

Some fine tuning on facilities such as more lights near the cupboards would be useful.
It was sad to see that the restaurants were not fully utilised and were often empty.
Overall a good 'hideout' if peace and quiet are required.

This is the best accomodation that my wife and I have stayed in. The rooms, staff and restaurants are all superb.
Each villa has its own pool and terrace which are totally secluded. The decore and furniture are of a high quality.
There are two restaurants, fusion and italian, both of which are excellent, as is the breakfast that is included in the price. I would recommend having a bbq in the villa.
Every member of staff was pleasant, helpful and made sure we had a great holiday - nothing was too much trouble for them.
The only slight draw back is the private beach is about a 5 minute walk away.

Not much can prepare you for the quality of the whole experience undertaken when you agree to stay at Kayumanis. The villa's are stunning and the private pools are beautiful. The food here is of very high standard, but comparitively, very expensive. I highly recommend the picnic on the beach. It is very romantic! The butler and transport services are a really nice touch. Our Butler, Samuel, was great and could not do enough for us. I would definatley recommend Kayumanis! Pure luxury and indulgement! Enjoy! We did!!!

Beyond expectations,
We stayed at kayumans for four nights, end july.
The accomodation is very private, lots of space and unlike the normal hotel experience.
The villa is separated in two adjacent parts, build in a L-shape. One is the living/kitchen the other the bedroom/bathroom. Outside you have the terrace and your own pool. The villa is surrounded with lots of green and a wall.
The service is great, and you allways get the feel there is someone on standby to meet your every need.
What I also liked were the complimentary services as:
- You can have your breakfast served at the villa or even at the beach.
- Transportation within nusa dua or jimbaran
- Softdrinks/beer in the minibar
- Afternoon tea and snacks
- home made cookies and fresh fruit
- newspapers/wifi in the room
The only problem was that other hotels we visited couldnt compete with our experience at kayumanis.
(although they were in the same price range).
We would certainly stay here again.

Kayumanis is a range of excellent bespoke luxury properties. The Nusa Dua property is conveniently located approx 30mins from Denpasar airport. Whilst the property itself is not secluded (i.e. there are others around it, traffic), once you are in the excellently appointed villas - which have a separate day-room with large sofa & easy chairs & kichenette, a large plunge pool but which is big enough to do a couple of laps, and the large main bedroom area - you are enclosed in your own peaceful world. The beach is a 5 to 10 min stroll, but which has a separate area with lounges for Kayumanis guests and is manned by a member of the Kayumanis staff, ready to serve cold drinks, beers etc!
I would most definitely be visiting the Nusa Dua property again!

Just what "the doctor ordered" tranquility, privacy and total relaxation. Very friendly and courteous staff and special thanks to Eka and Samuel. My wife and I enjoyed a romantic second honeymoon in a luxurious villa and surroundings. Every minute was a positive experience.

My husband stayed at Kayumanis for our 5th anniversary and came back feeling like we went on honeymoon! While the luxury of the villa took care of all our modern day needs, the ensuite outdoor bathroom surrounded by trees and birds chirping in the morning made us feel like Adam and Eve!
The service, the villas, and location and the exotic feel of Kayumanis is absolutely impeccable!
