Attention to detail would make all the difference!
Kind Villas Bintang Resort.
Very nicely laid out resort, lovely gardens, pool and spacious rooms with huge bed.
I could have been writing a glowing report if it were not for a lack of attention to detail.
These include:
Generally, the front desk staff could have been a lot freindlier. Especially the guy on duty when we checked out!
Breakfasts were generally good, but the fruit juices were not fresh, but artificial and tasted awful.
The rooms were large and tiled, but no slippers were provided, which I would have expected in a resort of this standard.
So, I do recommend it, but with reservations!

Great Pool Bar!
Staff were fantastic. The pool bar is great and right next to the beach. Food not great do go elsewhere. Lovely and quiet and by far one of the nicest pools in the area. Enjoyed the stay!
Peaceful and qiuet
We have visited this area of Bali before and like it for it's peacefulness. The beach is quite easy to walk along and the street area is reasonable to walk along with lots of restaurants to visit. The hotel was situated in large, well manicured gardens and was very tranquil. We were there at a quiet period with not many guests. It suited us. We chose a medium priced room which was large and well appointed. There was a problem with water backing up in the bathroom which was quickly rectified by staff. The pool was large and vey clean and had a swim up bar which was good for socialising around. The breakfast, which was included in the price, had a lot of variety and was a good quality. The staff were friendly but mainly unobtrusive. Water sports were close handy and there was a roped off area of the sea in which to swim. The beach area had beach chairs on the sand overlooking the water. Hawkers have small hut from which to sell their wares so patrons on the beach were not pestered by them. There were no organised activities which suited us but may not suit people with children. We had a pleasant, relaxing time here and would stay again.
Super Holiday
This was the first trip to Bali for my husband and I, and the first 4 nights we stayed at Villa Kind Bintang. It was wonderfull, we lived in a deluxe room, and there was absolutely nothing to complain about. Room was great, cleaning super, and all the staff was very very helpfull and nice. It has a great placement close up to the beach, super pool with a super poolbar. Massage is lovely at this place and not too expensive. It is also a great place for family with children. If we should give them a tip to get a little bit better, then they should have more possibilities in their breakfastmenu, if they do this, it would be a execellent place. We will definately come back to Villa Kind Bintang next time we come to Bali.
Lovely Acommodation
We stayed at Villa Bintang for 7 nights Amazing pool with swim up Bar. Had no problem getting a sunlounger round the pool, Beach area outside was great. plenty of water sports available.
Staff very friendly. Breakfast was good, ate there at other times and food just average but plenty of resturants round and about.
If you want a nice relaxing Holiday with a chilled out friendly feel Villa Bintang is the place to go i would definately stay there again!

All Expectations Meet
Having been in Bali for 10 days already, I came to Nusa Dua to play golf. Kinds Villa Bintang Resort was everything I had hoped for.
My experience can be best summed up in " there were no complaints".
Staff were very friendly, service was excellent. The rooms were large & clean with all facilities that I needed. Breakfast was varied to meet a wide variety of nationalities. The restaurant has a great view over the water and the food was great.
The pool and swim up bar was brilliant. The pool was warm and clean. The hotel provides entertainment for the guests, both at night and during the day. Thanks to the three guys doing a rendition of "Ten Guitars", took me back in time!
Outside the hotel, transport is easy to get, shops are sparse, but there are plenty of other restaurants around, if you wish.
I can only say, that should I be over that way again, including value for money, ( compared to the rest of the overpriced and sterile hotels in the area). Kinds Villa Bintang Resort would be the only place I would stay.

Bali Bliss
Tanjung Benoa is a more quiet part of Bali just north of Nusa Dua. Great spot to escape the rabble of Kuta. This Hotel is traditional Bali style, on the beach and my pick if you want a true Balinese feel. Staff are fantastic and very helpful. Rooms are very clean and provide everything a traveller could need.
Stayed in this hotel for 7 nights...
Stayed in this hotel for 7 nights and was by far the best hotel out of a fabulous 3 week holiday, we even tried to extend our stay but unfortunately we were too late for cancellation of our other hotel.This hotel offers the quality and service of a more expensive hotel but also offers the atmosphere that you fail to get in other 4/5 star resorts.
Although its not in the heart of Nusa Dua there are plenty of restaurants/shops within a few minutes walk out the front of the hotel.The pool is beautiful, with swin up bar and you could quite happily stay in the complex if you wished, as everything is on offer there.The bar and restaurant were not too expensive and prices included tax/service which is very convenient.The poolside spa was very reasonable in comparison to other hotels we stayed in i.e. $10 for a 30minute intense back/neck massage which we thoroughly enjoyed.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and provided a personal service.Although we had a standard room it was more than big enough for us and very comfortable.
There are plenty of tours available outside the hotel and watersports available on the beach outside the hotel also.The beach has quite a lot of seaweed but if you walk up a little bit its cleaner.
Cocomart is the most reasonable shop in the area for souveniers and other bits and pieces.Many restaurants offer free transport back to hotels in the area which is great.
Should I return to Bali I will definitely be booking into this hotel again for sure!

My partner and i had a great experience at Kinds Villa Bintang, our room was perfect & in a great location to the pool & main area of the hotel. Breakfast was great, good selection of food (watermelon juice was fantastic)..
First night we attended a banquet at the hotel that had a traditional story/theme attached to it, great use of the grounds & the service as well as food was superb!
The only faults to our stay would have been the staff at certain points of our trip were not helpful & lazy when it came to their duties - ripping off your own clients at times for more cash was not what i expected when im a guest.
Overall would go back!
I think everything about the hotel is...
I think everything about the hotel is good except the quilt!!!because the quilt is not dry ,it is moist.and smell.I hope next time ,it will be perfect !!!
