Neat and Clean, we stayed in a...
Neat and Clean, we stayed in a deluxe room and found it to be a decent size room, good restaraunt facilities, nice lobby, friendly staff, I found the bathroom to be a little small, the gardens are small but very well kept, there are two pools one is very small and located at the front of the hotel with only a fence between it and the street and not really used, the bigger pool is where the pool side bungalows are they looked nice and was a relaxing area, my only comment was that there was no bar or waiter service to get a drink or food while relaxing by the pool. The breakfast was mostly asian buffet with not a lot to choose, we did not eat there very often. Overall I would rate it more of a 3 star instead of 4. I would probably not stay there again only because there are similar hotels that have the same facilities but at a cheaper price.

This is our 6th trip to Bali....
This is our 6th trip to Bali. Stayed in Tanah Lot, Jimbaran Hills and also 3 other hotels in the Kuta area but Ramayana Resort & Spa Hotel is best in location to amenitites in Kuta area. It is just within walking distance. Staff are courteous & friendly, speedy check-in & check-out. The room was bigger than we had thought. Would defnitely stay at this hotel when we come to Bali again.

We had an enjoyable stay at the hotel earlier this month (September). The hotel is conveniently located near two large shopping centres, much to my wife's delight. However, music from surrounding bars and pubs may be loud and continue late into the night. If you're not the partying kind, you may not have a restful sleep. Staff were courteous and helpful.

7 August 2006 The hotel's breakfast area is currently under renovation and so they are serving breakfast at an adjacent building located at the back of the hotel. Breakfast spread is limited. The Garden Superior rooms, occupying 4 floors (Ground, 1st, 2nd & 3rd) are decent but are located at the back of the hotel without any lifts - you need to climb 3 floors up. Not advisable for elderly people. Didn't know about this when I've actually requested for a room on higher floor, which I normally do with other hotels. The air-cond for the room which I've originally checked-in wasn't working and hence we have to request for another room instead.

The level 9 suites at the Ramayana...
The level 9 suites at the Ramayana are world class and outstanding in size, design and decor vs. value . Combine this with the location and the friendly and efficient staff and you have the perfect start to a holiday. 3 days at a suite at the Ramayana then the rest of your holiday out of Kuta is definitely the way to go. Pity the 9th floor suites do not have a private pool -the main pools were a bit too crowded for my liking. I must say that while Kuta generally seems stagnant the standard of service and food has improved dramatically in the last 2 years. Bali remains the world's best holiday destination!!

Superior rooms are located in an older...
Superior rooms are located in an older building behind the pool. They are reasonably sized and have no balcony. Bathrooms have white matted windows into the room (a bit strange). Opening hot water in my room and several others induced loud roaring in the plumbing (my advice: don't get upset and keep opening the faucet). Buffet breakfasts were served in a busy restaurant in the new building - not so friendly. Still. location of the hotel is very good for shopping and less so for beach-going, although in Ramayana, one is not to far from any place in Kuta.

Live up to its name of a...
Live up to its name of a resort and spa. Furthermore, its value for money. Staffs are friendly, ambience is great with good daily spread of breakfast buffet (changed daily) and the pool is clean. It will be good if all blocks have passenger lifts. Very near to Kuta shopping area (there are already shops just outside the hotel) and about 10min walk to the beach. Overall, this is one of the better hotel we've stayed so far. Two thumbs UP!

Good location to Kuta beach and shopping...
Good location to Kuta beach and shopping centre, nice Balinese environment, good pools and gardens. I enjoyed the morning breakfast overlooking the garden and the pools. The only thing I mind is the everyday same menu for breakfast, which is the same for other hotels we stayed. Good to improve though.

My friend and I stayed at the Ramayana for a week at the end of a three month period of travelling. The room was absolutely gorgeous, service was impeccable and the grounds were so peaceful. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kuta. The spa services were also extremely well done. All of the staff at the Ramayana were very helpful and always friendly. We had a hard time leaving the Ramayana at the end of our week long stay!
