Ramayana Resort was kind to upgrade us...
Ramayana Resort was kind to upgrade us to a deluxe room even though we had only made a booking for a Superior room. We were very satisfied with the spacious and romantic setting of the deluxe room given to us. The whole building was also pretty new and most of all, it was clean. I would very much like to stay there at Ramanyana again.
The only drawback now is the limited selection of breakfast as compared to other hotels i've visited. But i'm sure the situation will improve once the other restaurants in the hotel have finished the renovation works.

overall ramayana have a stragic place whereby it is near to the Kuta Beach. The environment is very nice and i found that the staff are very friendly. Would surely recomment my friends to stay at the same hotel again. suggest to have more variety of breakfast. Not much choice on the food.
Ramayana is a "good value for money"...
Ramayana is a "good value for money" resort in the centre of bustling Kuta. I have been to Bali many times prior to my latest trip in Feb 06 and this is the 1st time staying in Kuta area and I am happy with its close proximity to everything else. However, I wouldn't recommend this place if you are a seasoned traveller to Bali as you will find better tranquility in other parts of Bali. Hotel is now going through renovation for a new swimming pool. Watch out for the breakfast buffet selection, very limited options!

We have stayed at this hotel 8 times now over the last 13 years - with several different friends and family and wouldn't stay anywhere else. We always get the poolside room - 241 and just love everything about the place. Excellent location - great staff too.

We got the cottage by the pool, very romantic and cosy. Generally, the staff were quite friendly except for some at the cafe. The room was fairly impressive with the psuedo-poster bed and soft lightings except for the toilet door that couldn't close properly, and bits of dust in the corners. A DVD player was available in our room so that was an additional entertainment option. Love the fact that the noise from the streets were blocked out. One of the better accomodation in Kuta and it's definitely value for money. Good location for some shopping or a stroll by the beach.

I recommend this hotel to everybody who wish to stay in a luxury and comfortable hotel. I'm a bit of regret that I only stayed one night at Ramayana. Hotel is located at the heart of KUTA, you can go to shopping during night and just a short walking distance to KUTA beach. I love this hotel and I will definitely choose Ramayana when I visit.

Was recommended to Ramayana by friends who thought it was strategically located - although they have never stayed here before.
Although when we arrived on 27th August2005, the main lobby was under renovation.,we were pleasantly surprised by the bustling yet relaxing ambience of the pool area and gardens.
When we were brought to our room, were impressed and simply loved the modern tropical interior. The marble flooring, the teak four poster bed were beautiful and the bathroom modern yet resorty.
Loved the huge sofa/daybed lounger cos it looks out to the sky.
The balcony was tastefully done in a zen manner, were impressed. And to think we booked just a normal standard room.
The modern tropical concept of the resort made our stay relaxing.
Buffet breakfast spread was simple but good.
Location wise, it's right smack in Kuta, and only 50 metres from the Discovery mall and Kuta center. Was really convenient. Have some pretty good shops at the ground floor of Ramayana.
Will definitely stay in Ramayana again when we come back to Bali.
