The location was perfect, an isolated spot in the hills overlooking padi fields and the Ayung River gorge. With only 31 beds spread over 11 acres, its as though you have the whole place to yourself. My only grouse was that the food was too healthy, as it ascribes to their 'raw food' principles, but that is a matter of personal preference.
Stuning place, just a pitty they made absolutely no effort in doing just something "small" for honey moon couples like the Oberoi did where we also stayed !
We enjoyed our stay tremendously as the level of service was high and the hotel had a complimentary set of wellness programmes such as yoga and trekking. The only drawback is that is that you will have to hire a driver to fetch you to and fro from Ubud Centre (15mins away). One of us was also badly bitten by sandflies which was no fault of the hotel since the location is right next to the rainforest. However, the hotel was kind enough to provide free medication and a consulation with a nurse. We would highly recommend this location to couples and retirees.
