Best beds - fantastic place to stay
The beds were so comfortable, rooms are a little small but ok for 2 people.
The drinks & food are expensive inside the hotel, but easy enough to venture outside for some great eating. the staff are extremely friendly & helpful. the front desk staff could do with more English speaking lessons.
Asia rooms or Risata should advise tourists that a $100 per day per room is required for deposit when your arrive, we had to put down $1500 as we had 3 rooms booked. This deposit is taken off your credit card & takes 10 days to refund. It seems unreasonable as there is nothing in the mini bar & you can pay as you go for meals & drinks inside the hotel. We had 4 teenagers with us + mum & dad , we all enjoyed the resort & the pool area , which is fantastic.
The best review we can offer for holiday makers that are looking for some peace & quiet is to stay in Kuta South (where Risata is situated). It is far enough out of Kuta to enjoy some peace, yet close enough to walk or taxi into town to see how life is in general!!

Risata not as described
The rooms were not the same as they had been described in the Asia rooms site, this is either as a result of the information provided by the hotel or misrepresentation by the web site.
Overall the rooms were ok, however if a room is described as suitable for two adults and one child there should be enough beds for three, we do not sleep with our children in the same bed.

Overall the hotel was good value, the pool, lobby and breakfasts are good. The room while cleen was basic, a bit old fashioned,, bordering on tired. The hotel was dead quite at night, trying to charge way over the top prices when compared to eating outside of the hotel, for example,they could have had a cheap Pizza night. as there was no one in the hotel at night there was no atmosphere and no incentive to stay in.

We have stayed in the Hotel for one week in August 2008. A great Hotel,comfortabel, not to big. The rooms are in a setting of small seperated buildings with an groundfloor and a firstlevel room. Didnt experienced any noise, so a comfortabel quiet stay.A beautiful garden thats well attended. The hotel is perfectly situated, close to the beach (150 meters), the centre of Kuta is 3 km walking on the beach. I did this every morning and evening. The pool is not big but big enough regarding that this is not a big complex. Breakfast was perfect, lots of choice and every morning was added something new to eat.The hotel offers also a shuttle bus to Kuta. The Intl airport is 10 minutes with the taxi. No noise from planes because they come from the sea. The bathroom is small, had a bathtub with a small size suitable for children only. Staff is very friendly and I would strongly recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely time and the hotel is perfect for nearly all people, but the street it is in,is quite dirty and does not have a lot to offer, eg: restaurant cafes etc Trudi Lind Western Australia
Having been many times to Bali this...
Having been many times to Bali this was my first time at the Risata. I was mighty impressed with the rooms, the service and the cleanliness. I was keen to be out of the hustle and bustle of Kuta with my 2 year old, so the 10-15 min walk, or short taxi trip for shopping suited us fine. The hotel was very child friendly and my daughter was treated like a princess. I definately would stay here again

pretty good location, not on beach but cheap 5min taxi fare to kuta action. pool is clean and fantastic, so is room and services
