My friends and I stayed for 3...
My friends and I stayed for 3 nights at Arma. We weren't used to the the lack of a Tv initially, but trust me, the peace and tranquility gets to you that you wouldn't want any white noise. Arma is perfect for a private relaxing retreat. It is located slightly away from the town centre but the shuttle service to town is provided easily. Talk to the drivers, you will be so entertained. Our room was spacious and clean. We love our balcony, great to read books an chill.. The bathroom was huge with a nice clawfoot bathtub. But there were no shower curtains around it and the floor gets wet easily. which is a hindrance. Otherwise, lovely resort

Beautiful grounds. My group stayed in...
Beautiful grounds. My group stayed in both a Superior and Deluxe room so we can give a comparison. The Deluxe room is much bigger (both the room and bathroom) and the hot water seemed more reliable. Nice big bath. Both rooms were of a very good standard. The bathrooms could do with a little updating (more so in the superior room), but it's really nothing serious and I wouldn't let this put you off staying here. Basically, if you can afford to spend a little more then the Deluxe room is worth the upgrade but you won't be unhappy in the Superior. There is a free shuttle bus into town but honestly, it's only about a 5-10 minute walk anyway so the location of the hotel is fine.

I really enjoyed my stay at the...
I really enjoyed my stay at the ARMA RESORT Ubud.The staff is very polite and takes care about everything you need.The owner of the resort and founder of the attached ARMA Museum(entrance free for resort guests!)is taking personally care a lot about his guests and offers Golden Tours in the very morning to show you the most wonderful countryside surrounding of Ubud(traditional villages with special architecture,rice terraces and much more).I paid 30 USD for a 3-hours-morning tour,which the owner(Mr. Agung Rai,a balinese nobleman)did with an for me only. The ARMA Resort is a very beautiful and relaxing place(very well fitting to guests that arrive in bad shape after one years's hard work and have to recover!). Highly recommend - especially for those who...
Highly recommend - especially for those who love nature and honey-mooner! The hotel itself is a resort rather than simply a hotel. The trees, gardens, mini-water falls, unique Baliness style buildings, rice field, and the frog-singing when you are sleep...Everything is just beyound our expectation! The staffs are very humble and helpful. We felt it was absolutely safe and comfortable there. Will stay there again if we come back to Bali!

Very nice place (quiet and a beautiful green environment) to stay. Although there is a Shuttle Bus, the location is still far away from the centre. The many stairs on this location might be a problem for people who are using a wheelchair or have other legproblems. The prices are too high in the restaurants, which belongs to the Arma Resort. People escape to the centre to use their meals.

Nice garden, good pool. Need some more workout on the rooms.The standard room should be more confortable. I like the way the staff mentioning other staff, "my friend" , it makes guests feel warm.
