I stayed 02 nights in Arma Resort...
I stayed 02 nights in Arma Resort and the gardens were beautiful, with a river and a small paddy field. The staff were very friendly. However, the aircon in my standard room leaked! And because the aircon was positioned above the bed, I woke up with water droplets on my face in the middle of the night. The Management refused to change my room, instead they tried to repair the aircon. We didnt want to take any chances, and slept with the bed pulled away from the wall, away from the aircon. Breakfast was ok, but without much of a choice. There was no standing shower in my room, just a bathtub. The location is far away from Ubud Center/Monkey Forrest Rd. There are some small shops near the Resort, but come night time, the area is pitch black! I think it's better to stay at Monkey Forrest Rd, where all the restaurants and shops are located.

Bali is a truly fantastic little island,...
Bali is a truly fantastic little island, and our stay at the Arma Resort in Ubud made our holiday a truly unforgettable one. Arma is more than just an hotel, it is a whole universe in wich leisure, spirituality and culture come together to allow guests to experience the real Bali. Don't forget to sign up for at least one of the tours. My wife & I went on the Diamond Tour with the charismatic Zanzan and that was the highlight of our Bali holiday.

It was really great! The entire resort looks...
It was really great! The entire resort looks like ancient artistic village. Hotel staffs were really full of hospitality and so friendly. Museum and Museum Cafe is also must go place. I joined Diamond tour as well. It was so special experience which made my stay so unforgettable! Strognly reccomend to the people who want to getaway from noisy busy place.

Definitely the place to stay for rest...
Definitely the place to stay for rest and relax. The shuttle to Ubud town is very convenient and it's also free. Staff is very polite, helful and service is excellent. New rooms and Villas are nicely decorated and clean, there are some rooms which looks a bit rundown, managed to get another room in our case. Definitely recommended for those looking for a quiet place to get away from the city buzz, but not for the city slickers looking for night life entertainment - Villas are especially nice for honeymooners . Breakfast at the resort is excellent and so are the restaurants - though the price can be slightly higher compared to restaurants in Ubud town.

If you are looking for a cultural...
If you are looking for a cultural experience, if you want to find out about Bali, if you want to learn how to create things as they do in Bali then Arma is the resort for you. Arma is much more than a hotel. There are 3 museums housing wonderful art works. You can do courses in many art forms and you have a choice from 2 restaurants and a cafe serving top quality food. The staff are lovely people who will see to your every need whilst taking a genuine interest in you yourself. We stayed in one of the superior villas which was beautiful and set within the Arma grounds which are kept to the highest standards. We had a wonderful time there and I can honestly say that, for us Arma was a haven in heaven!!

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay tremendously, many thanks to the warm and friendly staff. Great idea to leave out the TV since this encouraged us to explore the surroundings more!

Arma Resort is set in traditional, beautiful...
Arma Resort is set in traditional, beautiful extensive gardens, with running water, bridges, and lush green surroundings. Each room is individually set and there's no feeling of hotel here. It's a feeling of private accommodation as the rooms/villas are dotted throughout the gardens, each with it's own front door. The atmosphere of the gardens is serene. Fish jumping in the river and butterflies flying - what more can I say. It was very peaceful, the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Hotel policy is 'no TV' and if you want to get away from it all, this is the perfect place. It's just on the edge of town so easy to walk if you choose. The furnishings are not modern or new, but i for one don't go on holiday to look at furniture, so who cares? The best thing about ARMA is that money generated is used to preserve and encourage Balinese culture through the promotion of tradtional dance, painting and creative arts.

I was amazed at what the Arma...
I was amazed at what the Arma Resorts provided for the money I spent on it. Incredible value for an paradise room, excellent service, and remarkable hotel setting and scenery. Me and my girfriend enjoyed our time there and really did not want to leave. The staff especially ensured that we had a wonderful time, and helped us with all our requests and needs. Thank you again Arma!!!

The all place is enchanting. The gardens...
The all place is enchanting. The gardens are really charming. All the architecture, walls, sculpted stones, statues is amazing. We have appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the Museum. Our room had a large balcony with a baldaquin canopy, marble floor, scuplted wooden doors, nice bed linen. Everything very clean. The not so small swimming-pool is situated in a perfect spot. Breakfast is served near by a nice pool full of fishes and turtles. We took the shuttle bus only once, as actually UBUD center is really not far, 20 mns by feet and you have shops all along the way to discover. They present many kind of Bali culture activities, and shows in the evenings.

The location is fantastic - all the...
The location is fantastic - all the rooms are set in wonderful gardens with bridges and statues adorned with offerings. We toured the art gallery and watched some young girls being taught how to do the Balinese dancing - magical! The resort is only a few minutes drive from the centre of Ubud and the shuttle is frequent and free. The room we stayed in was clean and had good facilities - although it was a little old-fashioned and when the people above us moved around, the bathroom surfaces became showered with dust from the rattan ceilings - perhaps the place needs a bit of a face lift in places - but we loved it - the breakfast was generous and we ate in a wonderful outdoor pavilion! It is very quiet and has a serene atmosphere. I enjoyed an early morning dip in the lovely pool. I would not hesitate in recommending the resort for travellers to Bali!
