We stayed in this hotel for three nights, and chose it for the location, the free shuttle bus to Ubud centre and the trips offered, of which we did a day trip to Lake Batur and some of the many temples on the way.
We stayed in the Tantra suite, which was traditionally designed in a balinese style, with a stone wet room bathroom and four poster ornate bed. The room had the usual facilities ie mini bar, tea/coffee, air conditioning, and as a nice added extra a dvd player. It was a beautiful room with a nice balcony overlooking the river valley below, but felt a bit old and battered for a supposedly new-ish hotel, and the cupboard doors wouldn't close!
The hotel itself had a shop, a spa, a wonderful pool, and a restaurant serving fantastic food at reasonable prices. The hotel did have internet but no printer, so wasn't much use to us in that regard. Also, the hotel felt empty even though it was full, and nobody appeared to use the bar or social areas. Generally, in comparison to other hotels we stayed at, this one was a little overpriced for the facilities available.
