The Bali Spirit is a very nice hotel. There are a lot of stairs but the feeling of staying in a tree house is worth it. The grounds are like a botanical garden. It is not really within walking distance of the main centre of Ubud but here is a regular shuttle. The staff are very polite. Our room was simple but nice and my only complaint would be that the sheets were made of a heavy fabric and felt a bit strange. I would stay here again.

This is a beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Not too close to town, but close enough. The setting and ambience are incredible, and the hotel is very peaceful and relaxing. The outdoor bathrooms are lovely. We really enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our four day stay at...
We enjoyed our four day stay at the spirit hotel ,The hotel is in a lovely lush tropical garden setting ,The villas provide relative privacy ,and the service was friendly,my only concern which was mentioned to reception staff,was the need to better and more regularly clean the swimming pool,particularly the slimy perimeter tiles ,and the local Bali dog that was allowed to wander the surrounds inc the dinning area ,hopefully these matters have now been attended to

Our stay at the Spirit Hotel Ubud...
Our stay at the Spirit Hotel Ubud was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and helpfull. Location of the Hotel set against the valley wall overlooking the river, was amazing. It just felt like you were part of the natural surrounds of Palm, coconut and papaya trees, with the lush flowing sounds of the river nearby. Very peacefull and tranquil to relax and enjoy some time out of the hussle and bussle. There is a few steps to tackle being situated on the side of the valley, but overall all it was well set out on the ground available. The staff were great with information on the local activities and were even helpfull on recommending a great bar with live music (Jazz Cafe!!!). The food was great and the breakfast was portioned well with a good variety included with the accommodation price. We will definitely stay hear again and will recommend this to all our friends

Location is very nice and scenic.The rooms...
Location is very nice and scenic.The rooms and facilities of the hotel are build on several heights against the slope of a small river. During daytime there is some traficnoise from a road nearby. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel's own shuttleservice into town (about 5 km) is very efficient. Rooms are very clean. Pool of the hotel has enough sunny and shady places. Spa-facilities of the hotel are expensive compared with those in town. Restaurant of the hotel is good, wide range of choice and very reasonable prices.

The open air bathroom was quite an...
The open air bathroom was quite an experience. However, we were quite worried about privacy as the walls were not tall enough to make us feel secure. Room size is big and comfortable. Restaurant by the stream/river was great. Massage was good too with the natural sounds of nature around and especially relaxing is the sound from the flow of stream. Good value for money.
