Enjoyable relaxing stay
My husband and I recently stayed at this resort. We were aware that there were renovations going on at the resort and were pleasantly surprised at being upgraded due to the renovations. The acc. was lovely and in a lovely privae relaxed area of the resort. The staff were exceptional including the workers doing the reno's. The only complaint we had was the shower sprayed everywhere except for on us and the room got flooded. The water kept going on and off as well (surging) possibly tondo with the renovations. When I had a spa the room was not relaxing. Very smelly and full of mildew which was quite overwhelming. Breakfast was served at room temp. including drinks, milk etc. Staff and owners extremely welcoming and would definately book again. Thankyou to all the staff for our exceptional treatment. We were able to overlook the negatives.
Large rooms with an old fashioned Bali atmosphere. A little mould in the bathroom. Staff very friendly. Hotel in a lovely spot but about a 15 min walk on fairly unkept Bali footpaths. We would definately go again

Aniniraka Resort Spa Hotel Bali was a delightful surprise resort.The cottage overlooked the rice field(small though) and some tall trees where birds flew in and around.The patio overlooked this field and trees.A very relaxing way to have your breakfast which came with the cottage.Very little mosquitos disturbed us.We had the awimming pool to ourselfs.Breakfast was very good where you got to choose continental,american or local.
You can walk to Ubud town which will take about 30 mins then again the resort is generous because there are free shuttle service every hour to Ubud town, and you can jump in and do a return journey,which we used quite often.Overall staying in Aniniraka was very enjoyable.I recommend this resort for families and honeymoon couples.

Beautiful hotel and rooms, although ours had a slight musty smell (Raka Pavilion). Very comfortable bed and pillows though. Lovely pool, attentive service (came to turn on the jacuzzi when they saw us get in). Breakfast service a bit slow when busy. Indonesian breakfast better than the American, but with the American (eggs, toast, bacon/sausage) you also get some lovely pastries, fruit salad/juice.

They gave us a free upgrade to...
They gave us a free upgrade to deluxe pavillion. The pavillion is big with a nice daybed outside the pavillion to sit down and admire the greenery. The only thing is the room has full glass windows throughout so curtains have to closed well so that people can't see you. However, given only 10 pavillions, there is lots of privacy at this hotel.
There is also a nice pool and jacuzzi at the back of the hotel. Practically no one swims there so it feels as if you own the whole place. very nice and cosy.
Breakfast is nice and the staff are very accomodating. They provide free shuttle to and fro ubud market at anytime you want but before 6pm.
The hotel location is fine, walking distance to mozaic restaurant (which is a 'must try' and bali botannica (good spa at cheap price).
Overall, the stay is fantastic and it would be good if they have DVD players in the room too with the TV.

The service was undeniably the best I have experienced so far in the hotels I have stayed. The staff were extremely responsive on your queries and they will even go that extra step to make sure you are satisifed.
However, the location was not ideal for tour packages. Additional transportation charges were unbelievably high and the travel not the most comfortable given the long travelling time. Be prepared to burn your pocket if you intend to sign up for day tours from there.
