The villa was huge and included a wonderful pavilion area. The pool was good but too deep, and did not have a shallow end. The bedroom was also good, though the airconditioning struggled a bit. The main downfall of the property relates to the outside bathroom which is very uncomfortable and the kitchen, which needs to be modernised. Lighting in the bedroom is not good enough to read with.
Alu Bali was perfect us for a couple wanting to take time out of a busy schedule. The meals were good and served with polite and proffesional staff. Far enough away from civilisation but not too far when we wanted more excitement. It was clean and efficient.
Only draw back was loud music on 3 of our 9 nights from a night club which was some way away from Alu Bali. Im talking real head banging stuff from 11pm until 2.30 am. I would want to be sure this was sorted before I stayed again.
Apart from this Alu Bali is probaly the best holiday I have had in a long time.
Money well spent. The villa we had was perfect, very clean and was built with privacy in mind. Breakfast is a very unique experience served in the villa. Quality of service and food presentation is excellent. Very friendly and obliging staff. Will definitely return.
