Fantastic place for quiet, rustic and unique...
Fantastic place for quiet, rustic and unique get away from the rat race- either as a family, single and perfect for romance: fantastic snorkelling and diving, quiet and peaceful location: very natural. staff very helpful and friendly but dont expect your city style service or facilities:

Waka Shorea has its private beach and...
Waka Shorea has its private beach and pier where you can snorkeling(although I still recommend to snorkeling in Menjangan)and we went there during low season, so only 4 clients shared the whole beach, very quite and relaxing. You can spend a whole day sitting on the pier and enjoy wind with sea smell. Food is very good,we saw a wild mountain pig walked along the beach when we had candilelight dinner in front of beach. Waka Shorea is located within National Park, so you can see monkeys, moose dears, sea turtles(only in limited season), etc. We only see a wild pig during our stay. Staff are very friendly and welcome sharing story about everything. Be aware Waka Shorea is very isolcated from outside.(you have to take a boat to hotel) Not recommend people who enjoy night life and shopping. You can only dine inside. No telephone in room, no TV, or CD player, no hairdryer, and no bathtube.

This is a unique hotel because you...
This is a unique hotel because you must take a boat into the park where it is located. It is for a more adventurous type who especially enjoys snorkelling & diving as it is one of the best areas for coral in the world!! all the staff are delightful & being a beginner snorkeller, I was a bit nervous but I was well looked after!! you can dine under the stars delicious balinese food & they have afternoon tea as well! a nice swimming pool & natural atmosphere!
