Standards of rooms
The room which we was given was under standard, the shower had no shower head on , so the water was in a single stream of water, and no shower inclose so the water was splashing all over the floor, not to mention that the drain was blocked as well. Further to that the aircon dripped water into the room and into the power point.
We complained and was given the honeymoon room instead, the power was on and off for the first day, then final fixed. The shower was not working at all and was not fixed!!!! We had to take shower in the bathtub which had a short hose. Air con was only just cooling

Great service let down by the room
The hotel looks Ok from the outside - and the pool/restaurant area is great. However once you get inside things turn rather bland.
Whilst appearing clean, all surfaces in the room appeared to have some kind of wet silicone coating which rather annoyingly transferred onto anything that was put on them. Room furnishing was pretty bland, and the towels looked like they had seen better days. Bed was comfortable though.
I can only speak for the room I was in (on the second floor) but the balcony had a very low wall which would have worried me had my children been travelling with me.
Absolutely no complaints about the service from the staff. We asked about extending our stay but couldn't as the hotel was full. The chap on reception asked for details of what we were looking for, our budget, and made recommendations as well as appointments with the other hotels.
To summarise, Ok, but there's better value within walking distance.

Another great stay
This is my second visit to Stana Puri Gopa and I enjoyed this visit as much as the first. It is ideally located near the beach as well as the main shopping and eating areas, with a great massage lady up the road. I shall definitely stay again on my next trip to Bali.
The only problem I had with my accommodation was quickly rectified and the staff continued to inquire about my room

Very nice and clean hotel,with a beautiful garden,in a quiet place.very close to beach;personel very friendly and helpful.Highly recomended for persons who wish a nice and quiet vacation in Sanur,Bali-a wonderful island.
Ottima posizione per esplorare bali
L'hotel è situato in buona posizione vicinissimo alla spiaggia di Sanur e utile come punto di partenza per esplorare la zona Sud di Bali e anche la zona a Sud di Ubud.
Le camere sono confortevoli, lo staff cordiale e soprattutto ottimo il prezzo!

Nice big room, big holes on the balcony door -> mosquitos came in, breakfast ok, 2 minutes walk to the beach
Typical Balinese architecture, set in a manicured garden, friendly staff.
The hotel needs much improvement accross all services.
