PLataran Bali Resort & Spa is far from the madding crowd, yet just 45 minutes drive from the airport and 15 minutes drive to Seminyak, comfortably tucked in next to a village and the lush green paddy fields with a river flowing alongside the villas.

PLataran Bali villas are similar but not the same. Singularly exquisite, together a labyrinth of surprises. Soft fabrics exquisite furniture a seamless blend of nature and tradition both inside and outside of the villas. Spacious grounds to wander in - enchanted gardens. The reception of the resort is a careful reconstruction of a joglo called "Sawaagat" which means welcome in Sanskrit. This particular joglo is 250 years old and has been transported from its original location in central Java and reassembled at the resort to give you a blend of Indonesia culture across the islands.

At the centre of the resort, there is an inviting swimming pool, lined with green natural slate. This pool overlooks the river, bamboo stands, and has sun loungers set in a natural Balinese garden. The Shanti Restaurant serves superb Indonesian and International cuisine, with a selection of wines and cocktails available.
Activities abound, yoga cycling, surfing, cooking class, getting married-a special celebration – they are all here. Enchanting walkways throughout sheltered hidden gardens pleasant open lawns, bridges and pavilions. A hidden pearl on the outskirts of Seminyak. read more
