The place is full of mosquitos and there is no mosquito coil or cream given.
It was our honeymoon stay and we thought could get some surprises like make up of the room.
Dont have to be expensive but by just placing flower petals in the pool or candle lighting around.
Service was not up to my expectation since i am paying a 5 star hotel rate.
All in all, i will not come back to Elysian.

we stayed for over a week and it was a perfect, peaceful time.
While the service was okay at times...
While the service was okay at times it was a bit hit ad miss by being overly unctious and at other times missing the point of table service completely. The choice of food did not change over the eight days that I was there and there was not a great variety of food to choose from in the first place.
Would be helpful to have different downloads of music to play in the restaurant area as the same tape was played over and over every day, which was a little tedious.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful and made things as good as they could when requested to do so.
It was lovely hotel and would stay there again.

To be honest we can't fault the Elysian for any reason except its location is just a little inconvenient. The staff, the rooms, the food and facilities are all more than you can ask for. In the future the only thing i would want is a more convenient location to the beach.

The location is a bit secluded but probably suitable for a quiet getaway. Unfortunately a bit of a walk to the beach. Great design and room.
But a let down in service and personal attention. The staff was more interested in finding the 'missing champagne' during the check out when there was no champange in our villa in the first place.
However, all in all it was OK.

Loved our stay here. Great posy close to Ku De Ta & beach & Seminyak a great alternative to Kuta which is like going to Surfers Paradise (AU) if that is what you prefer. The Elysian is quiet & service is excellent. Lovely gardens. Not that easy to find but once there easy enough to get around. Quite styly with nice art & loved the iPods with great chillout music loaded. Hip & modern & not too tired yet. Great breakfast choices. Staff were unobtrusive & so helpful. Definitely recommend it & we are fairly fussy!

We spent one night at this small luxurious boutique hotel and wished we could have extended our stay there.
The pool villas were very private, spacious, very tastefully decorated (western contemporary), and had wireless internet and an ipod stereo system.
The hotel is quiet with a lovely pool, spa and restaurant. It is best for couples -- I wouldn't recommend it for families with small children.
