I have been disappointed by my stay in J Boutique which according to me does not deserve the title of boutique hotel if we except the area of the swimming pool.
Although the receptionist proudly announced me I have been upgraded,my room was not up to a superior standard.Corridors were noisy and always busy with cleaning trolleys.
Noisy aircon,door of shower not closing properly;poor bathroom light,no hand towels,and bad mattress.
I spend 4 days before in a very charming hotel in Legian beach just before moving to J Boutique and finally regretted that I did not spend my whole stay in the previous hotel.

Amazing Hotel for the price you pay
From the minute we walked into this hotel we were impressed. The decore is simply stunning. The service was impeccable and the room Omg!! They left a fruit platter, two glasses of bubbles and a pesonalised note wishing us a happy stay on our arrival. Every detail was thought of ~ even down to the love hearts drawn into the sand in the ashtrays. We often frequent Bali and wanting to stay close to everything but not in the midst of the hussle and bussle this was perfect. 5min walk to the clubs, 2mins to the beach and 5mins from the airport.
free upgrade
we had a great time nine family members from 3mths old to 47yrs good value for money good food rooms are quite large compared to some .they bumped two of us up to the only suite in the hotel for free spa bath n all yeh pretty good pool is on the roof its good but three flights of stairs to get to it two minuit taxi ride to kuta square would stay again dont forget to ask for upgrade
No Window
The hotel was clean but out room had no window and felt like a prison cell.
customer service
I was very happy staying a J Boutique and so was my teenage daughter, the staff we very helpful and friendly.
I would of given 100% for customer service except I was not picked up from the airport as scheduled, but beside that I would stay at J Boutique again.
It is very near to airport,only 5 minutes distances. The hotel is clean, swimming pool is very nice.
Most importantly, it is high-speed free wifi ,so is very convenient. You may take a 5 minutes taxi to Discovery mall and kuta beach. The room is clean but the light is bit dark. The standard room can only fit double bed and can't put in extra bed anymore.It is suggest for first day or last day who wish to back from kuta to airport.It is easier to get the taxi. Highly recommend this hotel.
What you see is what you get
I've stayed 1 night at J Boutique hotel with my husband and we're delighted to see that the hotel was clean and the room was neatly done. The staff were friendly but they worked too slow. It took us almost 30 minutes to check in and check out. The breakfast was okay nothing special no varieties. Walking distance to hustle bustle of Kuta. 5 minutes to Airport. They're doing renovation at the moment so you can hear banging noise's once you get out of the room. But you can't hear anything inside the room. This hotel is good for budget traveller or business traveller. You can't do much at the hotel but close to everything and a good place to come back to after a big day out. Overall I was happy to stay there. Definitely will come back again.
Mediocre
Had my usual hotel not been fully booked, I wouldn't have made reservation for this property. Few hiccups in regards to amenities ie. no soap, used toothbrush which I found unacceptable. Hotel arranged airport transfer, however didn't turn up. On the good side, customer service was quick with replies. All in all, not recommended.

location not far from Discovery plaza where we can shop n enjoy sunset at backyard of this mall where many resto suitable for spend time...
