I liked this hotel. The facilities were all quite nice, the location is good if you are basing yourself in the Kuta area. I would stay here again but would really like them to address the damp/mouldy smell in the rooms and the leaking toilet. The smell goes away if you let the air flow through for a few minutes, but the leaking toilet needs work.
There is a short darkish laneway to walk down at night, but I did it every night without fear or concern. Take a taxi cab back from the clubs if you want to be cautious.
The pool and resteraunt/bar area are very nice and the staff are friendly. It was very nice to relax by the pool in the afternoon before a night on the town. Breakfast is simple but adequate and they will cook you whatever you ask for.
I stayed at two other places during my ten days in Bali, the cheaper hotel was not as nice, the more expensive one was not much better then this one anyway.
