Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights....
Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. Getting around to the main attractions such as Kuta Square and Matahari Mall was very near except for the beach you have to walk further up a little more, which is still acceptable. It is all good for the walk as you will pass by shops selling Bali souvenirs, batik slingbags, Bali tees etc. If you would like to get around Kuta, Legian or anywhere, I would strongly recommend you rent a bike or car. It will be fun to do some exploring but make sure to memorize the roads while traveling and read the map well beforehand. Furthermore the hotel itself is located at a corner which seems rather secluded because you have to walk down this alley but rest assured not that bad after all. The facilities is not that great, pool is small, at least 8 sun deck chairs. The size of the room is big with a balcony and a rack stand outside for drying your clothes. The bathroom water from the shower has very weird temperature. Imagine waking up early in the morning turning on the tap and getting cold water instead. There is 2taps, 1 for hot the other cold. Tried turning the taps here and there to get the perfect warm water for bathing but ended up being unsuccessful. Water is either too hot or freaking cold. Water for showering is the worst part of all!! Got fresh towels and clean floor everyday as the housekeeper is doing his job well. Cheers for that. While walking back to the room at night, be careful as the pathways are not brightly lit. I would suggest if you can get a room located on the ground floor rather then the second and third level. Overall the service is good, this hotel is definitely value for money. Location wise excellent. You would not want to expect much from its low pricing. Perfect accommodation for budget travellers.
