DON'T STAY HERE
Very disappointed.
Ridiculously overpriced - next to a building site (noisy) - and inconvenient location. Budget accommodation but at a premium price. In addition, further gouged by converting the already hugely USD overpricing to Rupiah using a rate of 9,300 (8,700 run-of-the-mill rate on the street).
Do not stay here.

Friendly and Helpful
We usually stay at another hotel in Legian but this time wanted to save on accommodation. We tried the Wida hotel as it was in a convenient location and the price was less than half of our usual spot. The staff were so helpful especially Annie who remembered our name when we returned at the end of our holiday due to an accident. The lady who serves breakfast ( sorry can't remember her name) helped me find a hospital and arranged transport when I was in a bad state. The hotel itself is clean and has everything that other hotels offer - sufficient breakfast, clean bed and room, aircon and a pool. Short stroll from the beach. I'm looking forward to staying there again.

Wida Hotel.........Dewey, SA
We found Wida Hotel a very nice place to stay. We like small boutique hotels and this one was very attractive. The rooms were lovely - big King size bed. We also appreciate having a safe in room. The breakfast was very nice. The staff were lovely. We really liked the position of the hotel, easy to walk into Kuta Sq and easy for transport pick up. The only negatives would be that there was no individual balcony area to sit out on which we like to do, but having said that they provide a couple of areas that you can go and sit at around the hotel which were very nice areas. The other slightly negative thing was that we did not feel it to be a particularly family friendly hotel, which is great for couples who dont want to have children around, however, we had visitors with children and got spoken to as the children were too noisy - which was a shame as we have a couple of Balinese friends with children and felt we couldnt invite them back to our hotel after this. But apart from that we had a wonderful stay at the Wida Hotel.

Not for heavy party-goers, but...
Ideally located within walking distance to beach and shopping area. Breakfast is rather simple, but therefore of good quality. A bit too noisy for those who wake up easily of course. Fairly clean. After all good value for the money, if you are not into luxury and resorts.

Great little secret
Great little place, large, chic rooms, nicer than alot in the area, good bathroom, not 3rd world like some, good water pressure too!!
Friendly staff, great clean breakfast, fast room service, nice pool, - and very very reasonable!! Just a quck walk to the beach and restaurants on your doorstep.
The only glitch was that there is currently a building site on either side of this little boutique style cutie, leave it 5 or 6 months before you book perhaps -

If you're a traveller who has done the backpackers, slept on benches in train stations, couch surfed and then tried the 5 star experience ( and found that not to your taste) than Wida Hotel is your middle ground.
Clean, excellent service, great value for money and highly recommended for the not too extreme traveller ( whether it be the bench or 5 star luxury)

The room was comfortable and clean.Breakfast was decent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would have liked more gardens and plants, though.Good value for the money that I paid. It is a decent 3 star accommodation.

We were disappointed that we didn't receive our original accomination as requested but the room that we did have was very comfortable. Another disappointment was we didnt receive daily replenishment of soaps & shampoos resulting in us having to buy our own.

Good, comfortable, clean room. The only problem with the hotel is that the price that's quoted *isn't* what they end up charging you at the desk - they use an inflated exchange rate, so that you pay about 10% more than what's listed on the Asiarooms website. Buyer beware.
