Bad Experience
The worst hotel quality and value of money for my trip in Bali. I can't spend more than one night there ! There is no TV available (despite the description on Asiarooms), food is not nice at all even the glass provided also dirty and we had ask for changed in the restaurant. Very strong shit smell of animal at out of my room and even in the room still can smell it, we have to closed tightly of the back door & toilet door. When I see the toilet in the room, I totally can't accept, heater no hot, very dirty and ugly toilet like a public toilet, the difference with public toilet is size only. We were so tired after our whole day trip and wish can have a good rest, but it was super noisy at about 11:30pm +++ somebody is moving all the furniture and making very loud noise for quit long time, more than 1hr. When we check-out at the next morning, all the credit card can't use, 1st the customer service said they not accept Visa card, then I pass the master to him, also can't use then the reason giving is because of the issuing bank, even Citi Bank card also can't accept.....I can't accept and believe the reason given.
Nice View & Nice bedroom!
I had a king size bed in my room.The view from my room is really magnificent.The view of Volcano Batur & Lake Batur.It's very cooling & quiet during the day & night.It's very cold at night.I heard some vehicle noises but it's acceptable because it did not affect my sleep.It's 20-30minutes drive from the hotel to the local Hot Spring.Hotel has the transport service for customers who are interested to visit the Hot Spring.The choices for breakfast are limited.I waited the bread for an hour.The staffs are nice but not extremely friendly compared to the 3hotels that i stayed in Bali.I had a good night stay there.
Average Room
Booked the last 5 rooms for 3 families about 3 months back and could only get 3 superior and 2 deluxe rooms. For this combination, all of us had to split so much so that it became very inconvenenient as these 2 types of rooms are far from each other.
Rooms are pretty run down and upgrading/renovation is necessary. Otherwise, views from rooms are fantastic.

The worst quality/price ratio I have seen...
The worst quality/price ratio I have seen in Bali. The hotel is benefiting from its monopolistic situation in front onf the volvano for people willing to go to the top for the sunrise. Do not spend more than one night here ! There is no swimming pool (despite the description on Asiarooms), people are not kind (completely different from the population of Bali), food is not good, absolutly no charm in this hotel (highly wet in the bathroom). The only positive point : the view on the lake !

The room did not provide the bathroom...
The room did not provide the bathroom essential things and the most I can't believe is the hot water is out of function during night time and nobody answer our call from reception..We forced to take shower without hot water around the temperature of 18 C at outside!! Can u imagine? Even the hotel got nice lakeview and volcano but it should improve the room facilities and also the service.

Tks to seek feedback. The view from the hotel was nice and beautiful. The service were generally good. With the current global financial crisis, perhaps the offering at the hotel, particularly prices need to amend slightly in order to attract more customers.
With regard to the facilities, suggestions is to spruce up the facilities a little. 2 areas highlighted below for your necessary actions, pls.
Suggest to look at the ventilation system. As we enter the entrance to the hotel, we were greeted with a strong stench of urine smell, which came from the toilets beside the hotel room, beside the corridor was not well lit, with broken lightbulbs and lightbulbs missiing. 1 or 2 ventilation fans along each floor will solve the ventilation problems.
The rooms with attached toilet was nice, but it will surely help with fans to pull in fresh air and extract out the foul smell.
We stayed in Rm 509, 510 and 511. Somehow, there was an eerie feeling, which cause the goosepimples to rise when you are standing along the corridor beside room 509, which happens to be the room where we were staying. The goose pimple subside when you enter into the room. The above was re-confirmed by the drivers after our stay in Lakeview.
