Friendly family hotel, very good value for money
Booked last minute, nevertheless a very positive experience. The (older) bungalows do indeed offer more privacy, and also more space. I also noted that the Respati is very wheelchair-friendly (although am not disabled myself). It is literally two steps from the beach. Staff was very friendly and very helpful.
I would recommend this for anyone who likes a quiet, relaxed stay. Good for couples, elderly, families, and as mentioned before, disabled holiday makers.There's a even a wheelchairshop right next door. Don't stay too long though, the Sanur area can be a bit boring after more than 3 days (for the younger guests).

The rooms are old but clean and...
The rooms are old but clean and the staff are really friendly. We didn´t bother using the free 10 minute massage as it´s not worth it (a full massage at the hotel is way too expensive!). There are old bungalows at the back (which we were in) and newer rooms at the front looking out at the water. The new ones are double storey which means noise from above which we didn´t have to worry about but we didn´t have a view of the water. Breakfast is okay but needs more choices.

We arrived at the hotel to be told our bungalow was unavailable due to maintenance and were promptly upgraded to a deluxe room to our delight! The hotel would not suit everyone due to the lack of facilities, but the location is superb, on the beachfront, with lush gardens in the bungalow areas,a small but clean pool area, beachfront restaurant catering for simple cheap meals, and easy access to the many good restaurants and shops for those who like roaming. The staff are really friendly and enjoy knowing they can please you. If you want a well priced hotel in an ideal Bali location to lay back and take timeout, this is it

We found the staff very friendly & co-operative, especially the room maid, first morning had a problem with no hot water, but it was rectified quickly (the hotwater service had run out of bottle gas). Room was Ok as was the rest of the facilities.
Breakfast was most enjoyable overlooking the beach. The restaurant was on a par with the others in the area.The pool although small was never overcrowded, but more poolside deck chairs would have been nice. (this I think is being rectified, building improvements around the pool were commencing as we left). Overall a very enjoyable & relaxing hotel, would consider it again, good value for money.

We enjoyed our stay at Respati, but the pool area is very very small, and we had booked a bungalow but did not get one and had an usptairs room in the hotel part instead which was a bit disappointing. The staff and service was excellent.

Unfortenately not repaired after my demand.As we stayed only 4 days it was not rally problem for us but when you will stay longer then of course not convenient

This hotel was in a great location, on the beach and near many resturants and the market. It was not too big so you did get to meet other guests and got to know the staff. It was comfortable and clean but nothing flash, but more than sufficient to meet our needs as we were not in the room very much. I would certainly consider staying here again.
There really is no sea view room....
There really is no sea view room. You have to look through the very corner of one window and look past the restaurant to see any beach. This is definitely not worth paying extra for. The room was clean, but the bathroom had mold on the sink and shower. The water pressure in the shower would turn into a trickle at times. The hotel is also not in a great location, and the beaches were rather dirty. I didn't think it was a good value at all. The staff were very nice and the room itself was clean, except that we had to kill about ten mosquitoes.

Tip: 90% old people in Sanur, just stay 1 night!!
