Our stay
Upgraded from a standard room on arrival for more space. Staff very friendly and helpful. Peaceful at night when sitting on veranda. Good pool. Did not have menu for breakfast but if you asked for eggs they were cooked for you. Also you had to ask for fruit juice. Overall we were happy with our stay at Laghawa.

The room was very nice and I love that it was beautiful balinese style. There was only WiFi in lobby and at swimmingpool where it is very hot. It will be nice if it was available in the rooms. We enjoyed ou stay there. It is on the beach and have beautiful gardens
The place was nice enough, although for the price $60 US dollars i'm sure there are a lot nicer places around.
NEGATIVES
No free hotel transfer on our arrival as stated on documentation, and i also emailed the hotel direct before leaving.
Had a double room for us when we arrived, we specifically asked for a twin room, this was fixed relatively quickly with a lot of pointing and hand waving. Late night staff did not speak very good english (nor did the day staff for that matter)
Front counter staff are not the least bit freindly and very hard to communicate with.
No hot water for first 3 nights, water ran out on one day, power went out on another
Security of room dubious at best.
Could not pay via VISA, Eftpos machine not working (i think it was a case of they don't know how to use it) so had to arrange cash payment in ruphees!!
My reservation on arrival was only for 5 nights on their books, when we clearly booked for 10, seems to have been some miscommunication between asia rooms and the hote.

Great location for a hotel, and it appears that this hotel was once very chic and 5 star, sadly it is run down a little and needs a good revamp. Good sized rooms, very clean grounds and rooms. Breakfast was ok but after 10 days i was going elsewhere and paying for breakfast.

Room was dark probably so guest will not be able to see the sorry state of the place. Only local stations on the television.
Toilet was huge, half the size of the bedroom which was odd. Weak water pressure from the shower.
Basic breakfast with limited choices. But just enough to fill the tummy.
Grounds are clean, nice swimming pools, close walk to the beach, and near good restaurants and shops.
The reception desk surely needs some upgrading too!!!
Frankly, I was forced to book at the hotel as other hotels were fully booked for the week-long holiday. Surely would have preferred to stay at better hotels in the area.

Laghawa Beach Inn Hotel Bali - stayed in fan cooled room, which was adequate for time of year (August), no refrigerator for keeping drinks cold, no TV (not that you need), bed comfortable, sheets & pillow slips clean, but blanket and bed cover old and musty (not that we needed - probably why?). Room overall pretty good for budget hotel stay, nice front porch to sit on, great grounds and gardens, good location to beach, good location in Sanur main street near eateries and shopping. Pool was being refurbished, so couldn't use, but hotel supplied pass to ajoining hotel swimming pool for guest use (no problems, and once the pool is reinstated will be great). Breakfast was OK, eatery coutyard area OK, staff could be more attentive and welcoming. I'd consider staying again, but there are many accommodations to select from in Sanur pending your budget and taste.

Despite reading the negative reviews about Laghawa Beach Inn , we stayed in Villa E for 4 nites. Our room was stale smelling even after we used a room airfeshner that we bought from Singapore. stained mosquito netting in the masterbed room. No airconditioner in sitting room, no couch for watching TV instead a big dining table is place in front of the TV(very uncomfortable, suggest LBInn to rearrange the daybed or couch together with the TV)a good aircon system in main bedroom but very noisy box aircon in 2nd bedroom and a fan which stays on one control = slow!(Very hot for this kind of weather) Both Outdoor bathroom lighting not enough too dim & dark. Porch lighting to dim (please use a higher volt), broken & moss covered tiles in the pool(Not safe at all) take a torch if coming back in at night as it's not always very well lit up.Lovely gardens,staff are friendly. Every morning I will be woken up by the Chirping of the birds. I enjoy my stay there. Has potential if renovated.
