Puri Sading was .....
absolutely fabulous. As a frequen traveller to Bali I found staff to be helpfull and delightful although unobtrusive. The room was very comfortable and modern. It is quiet hotel and a good location. Thankyou Puri Sading.
Location Good
I would rate the staff as being very helpful and the location as being excellent, right on the main street and a medium walk to the Beach one way and to the Department store in the other direction. Plenty of eating/drinking establishments and shops/stalls along the street and directly across from a bar with a live band at night. I was allocated a room upstairs in the old part of the establishment. There was a communal verandah overlooking the backyard and part of the swimming pool. Sitting there was quite pleasant but not private at all. The restaraunt was adequate and family friendly.
The problem that I experienced was that the bathroom was old, The shower was over the bath and the water blocked and backed up in the bath so there was no way to avoid standing in deepish water while showering. Also the water leaked all over the bathroom floor. At the end of a normal shower the whole bathroom floor was awash with water. this made the experience of staying there quite unpleasant.
The main clientele seemed to be persons on diving holidays, single older travellers and a few young families from other parts of Asia.
We stayed for 3 nights and very much enjoyed it at this hotel. It is a budget hotel but it was clean, the staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was delicious.
We would recommend this hotel to couples travelling on a budget.

This is a small place with probably under 20 rooms. The surronding greenery was great, and the pool small but beautiful.
Our room was plenty big for the 2 of us. A queen sized bed, a pantry (with tea making facilities and a basin), a pretty old bathroom (due for an overhaul) and a nice big balcony.
The bathroom was in a pretty bad state. I believe the bathtub was leaking somewhere as no matter how I pulled the shower curtains, the floor would end up with a small flood after I'm done with my shower. The toilet bowl, or maybe just the seat, was tilted, which made it really uncomfortable to sit for more than just a few minutes. The towels were old and stiff, but generally clean. The bathroom lacked a place for me to hang my clothes.
The bed was big and comfortable, but we found some black marks on the pillow cover the 1st night, like someone had stepped on it. Fortunately there was a spare pillow in the wardrobe.
If you required hangers for your wardrobe you had to go down to the reception to ask for them.
Service was very polite and always with a smile. They always gave us an answer to our queries, sometimes after having a little discussion among themselves.
Breakfast is not buffet style, but you have a choice of American, Aussie or Indonesian.a American would be 4 toast, eggs (cooked in a style of your choice), bacon and fresh fruits or orange juice (syrup, not fresh) with tea or coffee. Aussie was pretty much the same except it came with cornflakes and sausage or ham instead of bacon. Indonesian would be fried rice or noodles. View from the restaurant would be the street running in front of the hotel.
View from my balcony was the balcony from the room opposite and the rooftop of Balinese residences.
For the amount we paid for the room, I was overall pretty satisfied with it. I did wish they had done something about the bathroom though.

Well located boutique type budget hotel. Well maintained Balinese style garden and a small yet well designed pool. Only limited no. of sun lounges around pool though. Adequate set breakfast (western and Balinese styles, etc. to choose from) although the portion of bacon/ham/sausages could be more generous. Can walk through to beach through Villa Santi Hotel directly opposite. Beach not as nice as Kuta. Go for twin instead of double room if you want to have 3 in the room with an extra bed. Overall, good value for money.

We arrived at about 10.30pm. We were given an upstairs room that had recently had a coat of paint. The balcony in front of our room was very small and was being used to store surf boards, etc for guests in adjacent rooms. There was only 1 table and chairs between the 2 rooms. We asked reception if we could be moved as there was no way we could even sit outside.
There was nothing available that night but the following day we could upgrade to an unrenovated room that was overlooking the pool. This was ok as we had a big balcony to ourselves. The room was clean and tidy, the bed a little clunky on the base. The bathroom clean but old and could definately do with a facelift.
The staff were friendly and the breakfast basic but quite adequate. This hotel is in a great locatation and would suit the budget traveller. I feel there are better hotels around for the same $$$
