Near proximity to beach
Location: beachfront hotel so its extremely near to the beach.
Room: stayed in 304 a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchenette. Everything was gd but the ceiling in the masterbed room toilet was leaking one afternoon.
Breakfast: not bad. I love their sautéed mushrooms. Rice porridge could be improved on as it was bland.
Pool: weird narrow shape and you can't really swim in it as children were jumping and diving into the pool all the time. Wished it was wider and bigger. Plenty of tanning beds around.
I liked this hotel but probably won't stay here again as there was too many children at the pool area. Can't swim as I was worried the might somehow land on me. I got splashed quite abit too when I was on the tanning bed trying to read.

Great modern little gem
While it claims to be in seminyak I would think its more legian even though on the border. Amazing facilities great pool nice and modern, only negative we had to mention is the terrible breakfast, in comparison to other hotels we found this very poor, poor quality soft soggy pastries and very bland yuk
I have wonderful stay with 0-CE-N Bali. It is a great place to stay, located in the front beach of Seminyak and restaurant.
Although there is a miss-comunication on booking dates, the staff and manager of the hotel are very friendly and accomodating our request on last minute notice. It is great place for Spa as well.

Smelly Hot Water from Tap

We Have Problem with the Cleaness Water from the Bathroom, Two Bathroom, the water very smelly...(Ammonia smelly.., also when I washed dishes using hot tap water from kicthen...smelly

Outrigger is a Modern Hotel on the beach.
Pros:
The hotel restaurant is on the 2nd floor. Haveing breakfast over looking the beach is beautiful. Its also very nice to have cocktails there in the afternoon as the sun goes down. Their restaurant and bars are very funky and cool. This hotel has other nice restaurants near by along the strip infront of the beach which are all walking distance.
Cons:
The hotel room itself is nice but the bathroom is super tiny. The room is not very sound proof either. I could hear the room next door switch on lights in the middle of the night and also the music in our hotel bar.
I would recommend this Hotel to people under 30.

i love the location of the hotel. less than 2 mins walk to my favourite club Double 6 (66). Everything were great. the staff, the room, the service and my spa experience here was among the best. the only thing that maybe need an upgrade is the bathroom. should separate the shower. water is everywhere. but its a good recommended hotel to stay.

Have stayed twice now and i am staying again in June.The rooms are lovely and modern and very clean.the beds have fresh sheets daily and always plenty of fresh towels on hand.the bathroom has little space to put your toiletries as there is not really enough storage for your clothes.other things make up for that e.g flat screen t.v and DVD player.the staff are always polite and friendly.Love the locality,walking distance to kuta and Seminack.Great little eateries outside the hotel and the hotel has a lovely seafood restaurant.
5 Star Hotel??? What a joke!!! After...
5 Star Hotel??? What a joke!!! After confirming our hotel transfers a week before we arrived in Bali we expected the transport to be there... after looking around for 15 minutes in the heat with our bags we decided to get a cab. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by an unfriendly lady on the desk who said we never booked transfers. After producing the email confirmation (thats right they didnt believe us, and made me buy an internet card off them so i could show them email) they just went about their business. No apology!!! We were promised a follow up... that never happened. What a joke!!!
So not a great start to our holiday in Bali. From there we were taken to our room. It was on the ground floor and on the main walkway of the resort. This wouldnt be so bad if the rooms werent made completely of glass. So we asked for another room. The manager then argued with us for over 30 minutes saying there was no other rooms etc. Then told us as he ushered us to another one (that wasnt so hard was it???) that they were at 30% capacity (30% capacity?? We saw about 15 different people the whole time in a massive resort for over a week- its a sign). So after not being picked up at the airport then being treated like rubbish at the reception, then being made to feel like we were putting them out asking for a room in a quieter spot.
The rooms are brand new and quite nice. But there is no mini bar, the airconditioners drip water (its above the bed... so water lands on your head), the bathrooms are tiny and flood and the lack of privacy may put some people off staying here. The pool area is tiny (if they are ever at more than 50% occupancy you would struggle to get a lounge or fit in the pool). The breakfast selection is pretty limited but nice, and the service at breakfast was very friendly. We had room service one night and the food was terrible, and ate by the pool one day and the lunch was not much better. Im not sure if this is teething problems with it being a new hotel etc.
Overall i would not stay at the Outrigger ever again. The service (lack thereof) is enough to put you off from the outset. We stayed there for 8 nights then moved to a Villa at Uma Sapna in Seminyak which was amazing. The Outrigger could learn a lot from their service and friendly demeanours. I would recommend staying at Uma Sapna. I have been to Bali 4 times (stayed at the Padma hotel just down the road, if you want a resort experience stay there) and it just goes to show how dissappointing Outrigger was. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
