calm place to relax, off the beaten track
If you are looking for a very nice and calm place to relax or to start your daily trips this is perfect for you. Traveling as family (2+1) the room was spacious and clean, we had a nice view to the pool and the sea.
The staff was always very friendly and willing to help.
Worth knowing: though the hotel is located directly at the sea there is no beach at all to go swimming. And at least at the time we were there (April) you wouldn't want to because the water was rather dirty (garbage, plasticbags,...). But lying at the pool lets you enjoy the seaview as it is only a few meters away and no annoying beach walkers or sellers in between.
Also good to know: the restaurant is only average but quite expensive, it seemed to us they had different menues for different guests or just recently raised their prices, one menue said a large beer would be 35.000, the other 60.000!
The next (and better) restaurants as well as supermarkets are in walking distance if you like walking for about 15min partly along the main road. No problem if you are traveling with a car.

Buri Saron
Very quiet place except the government is building the beach errotion barrier. Hopefuly it will be completed before the high season starts.

The Puri Saron was an ideal hotel for a short stay, it ticks all the boxes.
tired but nice
hotel was older style and slightly "worn" but obviously undergoing renovations. Pool was great, view was straight onto the ocean and gardens were good. The rooms were great - spacious and clean,bathroom excellent, but the restaurant was of limited choice. Hotel is a taxi ride (50,000rph) away from Lovina and Singarajah - not walkable. But both places well worth a few visits. Much quieter than southern and Ubud resorts so very pleasant in that way.

If you´re staying in the northern Bali this is a nice place.
View to the sea from most of the rooms and a lovely pool area with sperate childpool.
Rooms a large and clean with aircondition and television.
Nice facilities for massage and spa - recomendable.
Staff is helpfull.
Remember to take a dolphin trip in the morning.

Worst accomodation of our whole trip
Absolutely not recommendable! They tried to give us the worst room they had, even they had only three other rooms occupied. After complaining about this room they gave us another one which was not even better. Very unfriendly service. Internet possible, but 50.000 IDR per 0.5 hours! In one word: Horrible!!! We stayed only one night there (planned was three nights at least in Lovina).
A Peaceful Retreat
We stayed two nights at Puri Saron Baruna Beach Hotel in Lovina and foumd it to be a friendly, peaceful break - away from the hussle of Kuta. We were very satisfied with our large airconditioned room and did not mind the fact we shared it with a gecko. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast which was included in the price, provided a number of options and was tasy and satisfying. Pool area was small compared to other hotels but there hotel was quiet so there were plenty of sun lounges around to use. The outlook from the pool area is stunning
The only problem is the lack of taxi or independent transport service which means you are compelled to use the hotel drivers at Rp 50000 a trip. Sinaraja is not that far away - 3 km but there are very few services between the hotel and the city and due to traffic and an obstructed beach it is difficult to walk the distance. In all though, we had a very happy experience.

Bathroom was not very clean and had...
Bathroom was not very clean and had an unpleasant smell.The TV could not receive AFL football or Wimbledon tennis.The security was not fastened to the room and could be removed from the room.No tea or coffee making facilities.No chairs or settee in the room.No light switch by the bedside.Air conditioner could not be adjusted, only turned on or off.No top sheet was provided and not supplied until several requests were made.
